Severe allergic reaction

I have never had an allergic reaction to any chapstick until now. I have a swollen lip with a bunch of blisters. It looks disgusting. I thought I was doing something good for my body I guess I was wrong

Excellent lip balms!

I bought the 2 pack strawberry sorbert lip balm to give one to my friend. It keeps my lips very hydrated and it smells so yummy! I love these lip balms I use them all the time. My friend absolutely loves it too.

flavor review - good neutral go to

eos lip balms are always incredibly hydrating, but some of the flavors are. kind of overwhelming. bad to end up on a straw if you're drinking. this is probably the most neutral one i've used, and it's great to have on you as a go to. You can't smell it once it's on, it's the usual "vaguely sweet" taste with a Hint of vanilla, doesn't have the weird chemical back of the nose burning that some vanilla products give off.

Causes a rash!

I started using this and noticed my lips only seemed to be getting dryer - I applied a healthy layer before bed hoping that would help but instead I woke up with tons of extremely painful blisters. After visiting the doctors and starting medicine & discontinuing use, it is starting to clear. It was extremely painful to where I could barely open my mouth with some bumps spreading around my chin too. Finding out they had a LAWSUIT with this same thing happening to other people is VERY disappointing to hear people are still experiencing it. I've never ever had a reaction to any other chapstick - I've used this one maybe a few times before I had a horrible reaction.

I remember seeing these eggs everywhere when I was in middle school. I only recently got some for myself and I now understand it all! The Sweet Mint is so hydrating and it gives your lips a pleasant tingle! And it LASTS!

Nice and thick, but smells like plastic.

I received a vanilla lip balm from EOS on PinchMe, and unfortunately, my boyfriend and I were disappointed. Going on, the texture is nice due to the thick coverage, but it smells intensely like plastic, and tastes just as bad on the lips. I was really excited for this balm, but I don’t believe I will purchase it on my own.

avoid: this lip balm causes allergies

I'd heard of eos being sued a few years ago because of their lip balm causing rashes. I thought it didn't apply to me, because I'd used this product for a few months and hadn't had problems... but little did I know that it was causing me to develop an allergy. Eventually I developed an intense rash on my lips and onto my upper cutaneous lip. Took me a while to figure out the lip balm was causing it, but when I stopped using this product, the rash went away. I tried using eos again (new tube) and the rash immediately came back. (There's now a stinging sensation when I put it on my lips.) Stopped using the product and the rash disappeared again. I've tried many brands of lip balm, including some with many of the same ingredient (beeswax, shea butter, etc.), and none have caused an issue like this. Thanks for a new allergy, eos! Weird that you didn't fix your product after that lawsuit.

No scent. Should be labeled “unscented”

The formula gets 5 stars but the scent gets zero because there isn’t any. I purchased because I wanted vanilla scent. This didn’t have it.
