Very cheaply made. Looks good. Not too happy as a big chip on the top corner was there. Still put it together.

Books

Needed to provide additional storage for art books and other items in family room as I was setting up a small area for watercolor painting. I have purchased many Sauder bookcases over the years and have always been pleased with the produce as quality for the price and a final handsome produce no matter the style and finish type. Construction and directions have always been excellent and if followed carefully never a problem. The materials have always arrived securely packaged without any scratches, blemishes of any type. Over the years that whenever I have needed extra storage capacity for books or other hobbies I have always looked to Sauder for the solution and as of now have never been disappointed. One construction suggestion on the recent 2 shelf bookcase would be to make the back panel just a little larger on its length (not width) as the panel has plenty of room to extend over the bottom base and make it much easier to line up and get a proper fit. Overall, a 5 star rating!

This is the third bookcase I now have and I like it very much. Good size, fairly easy to assemble and sturdy.

We received the product in a faster time than expected and was packaged well. Originally we were going to order the Cherry color but Sauder was out of stock, so we chose another color and are very happy with it. The instructions were fairly simple to follow with the exception of sometimes not knowing exactly which way the pieces should be turned. We bought four bookcases total, two short and two tall to accommodate all of our books. We have ordered Sauder products in the past and were impressed with the quality and durability. We would recommend this company to anyone looking for their line of products.

The wood is a beautiful color and quality! The bookcase is very solid . No difficulty putting together. Exactly what I've been looking for in my office. Looks classy.

I bought these low bookshelves for my husband's upstairs office which is a converted attic that has a sloped ceiling and low walls. Where the ceiling meets the wall the wall height is only 32" these bookshelves fit perfectly against those walls. They were easy to assemble, look nice, and are sturdy enough to hold all of his books. He liked the oiled oak color which also compliments the existing oak trim.
