i love scent
love that it has the automatic measuring with the squeeze cap so that I don’t have to measure it out. I also love that the bottle is much smaller and lighter but I get the same number of loads as the big jug because it’s more concentrated. These 2 features are especially handy bedsheets my 12yr old daughter has been learning to do her own laundry and she doesn’t struggle with measuring into the cup and potentially having a spill or worry about it she uses the correct amount because it measures itself and the smaller bottle size is so much easier for her to manage! Would also be great for elderly or disabled that may struggle with the larger jugs or anyone that uses the laundromat and has to transport their soap bottles! It also gets the clothes really clean, doesn’t bother my super sensitive skin kids like other detergents do and leaves the clothes smelling really fresh without smelling too strong!

I’ve been using the Seventh Generation Free & Clear Laundry Detergent Packs for several months, and they’ve become a regular part of our laundry routine. With sensitive skin in our household, it’s always been hard to find a detergent that cleans well without causing irritation, but these packs have worked really well for us. They’re fragrance-free, dye-free, and hypoallergenic, which makes them a great option for anyone with sensitive skin. Even though they’re gentle, they still handle everyday stains and leave clothes clean without any leftover residue. I also appreciate that they’re plant-based and more environmentally friendly—it feels good using something that’s safer for both my family and the environment. One thing to note is water temperature. The packs dissolve best in warm or hot water. In colder washes, they don’t always fully dissolve and can leave a bit of residue. Placing the pack in the drum before adding clothes helps, and occasionally choosing a slightly warmer wash cycle makes a noticeable difference. Overall, it’s a dependable, skin-friendly detergent that I’m very happy with.

Pop a Pod In
I used to use these laundry detergent pods years ago, but switched since I prefer liquid. The pod is convenient and mess free, but I think you end up paying more for them. The ingredients weren’t as clearly listed as I’d like them to be either, compared with my new detergent. I wish more companies would clearly label what’s in their product and not greenwash. Overall, these are decent in a pinch and perhaps good for traveling.

Safer family option
I love using more plants based options when I can. This makes me feel safer using on laundry for my family especially my child. This does a good job of getting everyone's clothes clean. The citrus scent is very nice and not too overwhelming. This is very easy to just pour in the washer for cleaning.

Contains plastic, choose powders instead
These packs as well as any liquid gel tabs contain PVA which is plastic. They dissolve into microplastics in water and pollute our oceans and earth as well as ourselves. What happened to the plain powder you used to sell?? That is clearly the most sustainable choice.

This is very high quality detergent at an affordable price. It contains natural ingredients, cleans well, is truly unscented/fragrance free, and does not irritate my super sensitive skin. It leaves my clothes smelling fresh and clean. It’s a great size and value for the money, I highly recommend

Laundry soap
As a busy mom, I really like Seventh Generation Ultra Power Plus laundry soap for how well it cleans without harsh chemicals. Cat Urine Problem Solver
Ok! If you are a pet parent, try this! One of cats loves to spray on our clothes. I have tried countless detergents and was looking for something that didn’t mask the pee smell but actually fight to get it out. Research shows using products that have enzymes break down the bacteria and this did the job! I have a regular basic top loader washer too. This is my only go to for all laundry purposes now. Side note: sometimes there is some residue but I honestly can’t say if that is from these pods or if it’s from fabric softener but easy fix, I just run through rinse cycle again and problem solved!

Gentle on skin, tough on clothes

Mediocre Detergent
It cleaned my laundry well enough for those that were normal soiled, but one of my hiking shirts had tougher dirt stains and a kitchen towel with food stains that it didn’t clean off. I’d rate this a 3.5, but I’m going to try another brand because I’m an outdoors person and cook enough in the kitchen that I need a clean ingredient detergent that is more reliable and not so so

Good with one exception
I used seventh generation for about two months. During that time I found the consistency good the smell pleasant and overall cleaning of my clothes was good. My one complaint as I always had to add a whitener when I was just washing whites. Otherwise, I think it’s a great product.

Yummy smell and nontoxic
This is my go to laundry detergent, I love that it’s nontoxic for my family, the only detergent that I’ll use on my babies clothes, and my husband loves that it’s still smells amazing!
