Rubbermaid 4.7 Cup Brilliance Food Storage Container 5pc Set: Clear, Microwave & Dishwasher Safe

The glass container is fantastic but the lids are horrible and inconsistent. I had one break the corner off the second time I went use it. Others had the seal leak, one had the seal crack early on. I have not been able to find replacement lids. This makes the container useless pretty quick.

I love the secure latches and the size. This fits perfectly in my adult lunchbox for work. Considering buying myself a back up container.

I bought these 3 years ago and they’re still perfect. They don’t stain. I wash them in top rack of the dishwasher and the larger containers by hand that don’t easily fit on the top rack. Treat them well and they’ll stay clear. Love them & replaced all my red top Rubbermaid & Tupperware with them. Plus made in the U.S. wish the 19.9 cup was still made though.

I bought a set of these for my dad several months ago. However, I don't keep my receipts for things like this. It worked fine... until it didn't. Now the lid refuses to come off. My dad is in his 80's. I finally got the lid off. The lid LOOKS fine. I put it back on and sealed it, and once again, the lid won't come off. I put the lid on the other container, and confirmed that the problem is the lid, not the container. I came to the website to see if they could give me a replacement (at least the lid), but their warranty program requires a receipt. Sigh. I cannot recommend these.

I want to like this product, but trash bins have this "Rubbermaid" and even the feminine waste boxes in the bathroom have the same "Rubbermaid" logo. I can't stand this anymore.

I was fortunate, the first cracked container was under warranty and was replaced. The next 3 had to be tossed. Good looking container. Very nice lid seals well. But every remaining container has cracks in it. Literally, every single one of them. Rubbermaid knows they are junk. Just look at the warranty, "please reach out to us within 120 days from the date of purchase."

The plaric lids crack and can't be replaced. What the heck is the reasoning behind this?

I purchased this awhile ago. I just used a few wks approx 3. I put chopped onion in and stored. It is 5/18/25 and the smell from the lid is Wow!:( I've tried everything to rid the smell. Dishwasher. Stored in large zip lock bag w/ dawn dish detergent w/ baking soda & hot water, vinegar "soak for wks." It still smells. My dishwasher even smelled for a minute. I never expected this. So, don't store onions in the container. I am thinking I will end up tossing the lid, sadly.

I bought a couple sets of the Brilliance plastic. Within a year, most are cloudy looking, and or are cracking all over. For the cost, these should last for several years, not just one year or less. We have soft water, and top rack in the dish washer. Extremely disappointed in having to replace them already. I'm going to have to find a different company's product as I don't believe in Rubbermaid now.

I have bought two sets of these and the plastic lids keep cracking. There are no replacement lids offered by Rubbermaid.

They are nice; however they don’t last more than 6 months. They crack, I wanted to switch to glass but I’m afraid if I microwave it, it will be too hot to touch.

I agree with the current AI-generated review. These have so far been the BEST containers I've ever found, and that's why I'm here buying more. Their stackability is outstanding and the empty ones are very convenient to organize. But, the 100% leak-proof claim is just false: don't ever put soup in one and throw it in your backpack. And the lids do mysteriously crack, not sure what the reason: dishwasher, freezer? I've found staining to be close to none. Conclusions: (1) Surrender to some wear, tear, and replacement. (2) The leak-proof is just mid. (3) Expect them overpriced but above average. (4) If you're ok with all that, the plastic Brilliance collection is very easy to like, maybe even love. Food containers are the armpit of every kitchen: everyone has them and they're not the most pleasant feature. But at some point, it's nice to have ones you never regret. I'd pay a premium for that! I thought these would be them, but while the price is premium, the product is not quite.

the only issue I have is that the lids crack and become unusable. we love the containers but the lids are a definite problem. fix it

I was so excited to replace all my containers with these. THEN, half of them started cracking, exactly like some of the pictures that were shown. Very disappointed.

I have a ocmplete set of Brillliance and they are great. They are so air tight that there is a bit of a learning curve to open them easily. After just a little practice, it is easy and well worth it as these containers keep foods fresh so much longer. They do NOT leak if you put the lids on correctly. Dishwasher (top rack) safe.

I love them! Things last longer in them and if they get tipped, my fridge isn’t a mess!

The lids are super tight so no spilling! They create a very firm seal so I don't worry about leaking.

Won these as a white elephant gift for Christmas and we didn't think much of them, until we tried them for the first time and I love the quality of them! They have good suction and the locks are sturdy; very durable.

Impossible to open the locking latch lid!!! I am 68 yr old female/not a body builder!!!

Love these glass containers! Easy to pack..airtight cover...food stays fresh! Easy to transport and no harmful plastic.. I dropped this product twice...didn't break..incredibly durable and seems unbreakable...I did so much homework on glass storage and this product did not disappoint A++++++++
