Applicator NOT Improved
I am so annoyed with myself. I didn't realize I was buying the version with this horrible applicator. The stick is not long enough to shove the tampon out of the applicator...so it get's stuck. I wish these tampon companies would realize these compact version DO NOT WORK. You'd have better luck using your finger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cora comfort fit tampon multi pack might be my new favorite tampon-and I’ve tried a lot of of them over the years with period variations and sensitivities. Cora is made without BPA, fragrance, chlorine, and rayon, which are the number one chemicals to avoid-especially something that can be absorbed in your body! I’m always a multi pack multi size girly for the different stages of my period so that’s always what I’m purchasing. Some plastic applicators are too slippery and don’t have enough grip, but this one clicks and extends, and is easy to use. They also provide period products and body literacy resources to people that may not have access to them with every purchase! Of course it is woman owned, and the founder Molly is a social justice philanthropist who is focused on a bigger mission. We’d love to see a company that gives back!👏 The packaging exterior coral (I see what you did there “Cora”) is aesthetically pleasing, and the individual tampon packaging are the best colors in my opinion (mint/teal). I think it’s super important to make the mundane things a little bit more fun and I do think that packaging matters! Check out Molly’s story on TheGoodTrade- interesting read!

Also like that it was “better” for me with less chemicals than traditional tampons!

I had been using the tampax pearl tampons for year until I discovered they are not animal cruelty free. I switched to Cora because they are a cruelty free brand on top of being organic. Last month was my first month using this brand and I had the worst cramps ever. I haven’t had cramps this painful since before I was not on birth control. I decided to not use tampons at all my next cycle and had my normal cramping. This month I decided to give Cora another shot since I have a handful of tampons still and within a couple of hours of me inserting the tampon my cramps are extremely painful. Do not get these tampons, I am convinced these are causing my harsh cramps. The applicator is not well made and I find the tampons to be a bit too rough. Also when working out having this tampon in and im doing my floor stretches I feel the tampon and it is pretty uncomfortable. When using Tampax I would never feel it. I’m hoping to find a better cruelty free brand.

I’ve been using these tampons for 5 days cow and i haven’t had any problems, they are comfortable. They are very absorbent. The tampons are small and compact to take on the go. I usually end up staining myself with other tampons but with the CORA tampons I had a mess free period. I’m usually a super plus tampon girl but the CORA super was just enough.

We’re sorry this was a frustrating experience. Our new applicator works a bit differently than what you might be used to. The key step is pulling the smaller, inner tube firmly until you hear and feel a click. This click means the applicator is fully extended and ready to insert. Then press the inner tube all the way through while holding the textured finger grip to release the tampon smoothly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The application for these tampons are the worst. I rather use the cardboard tampons you get out if the quarter machine. I wasted so many of them trying to get them in. As for comfort theyre not so bad, they absorbed as good as other brands. I like how theyre organic but then there is better organic tampons you can buy. Im sure if you learned to use the application it wont be so bad but I rather just get another brand if I have to waste many tampons just to learn how to use it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The compact size of the product makes for easy storage and ideal for placing in bags and pouches discreetly. To make full size, the top “clicks” into place. A few times I tried, the product didn’t click and it was wasted…I think it just takes practice. The super tampons didn’t seem much larger than the regular size, but they absorb well!
