Very , Very disappointed!
Was expecting a set of play bongos! What you get is no drumming sound when you tap it, but a Constantly playing obnoxious song , that is if you can ever access the battery compartment which took long nose pliers to pull out . Usually Melissa and Doug products are great, what happened?????? My 1 year old grandson just crawled away, and my 4,5 and 7 year old grandchildren asked what it’s supposed to do since it’s not a drum.

Not as annoying as I thought they would be
My MIL sent these to my (then) six month old son. I was worried they would be super annoying, but they’re actually not. The battery pack is insanely difficult to get to so we just turned it on once and have never turned it off. Baby is now almost 10 months and this is his favorite toy.

Doesn't work
Bought this for my 8 month old's first christmas. Worked for a couple of days and then just stopped. Put new batteries in and got no sound at all. Also, battery pack hard to get out. Very disappointed.

This is a terrible product!
I so wanted to like these little drums. The "battery pack" with the switches is WAY inside the drum! I could not pull it out without literally cutting into the drum with a scissors! Who wants toys like this? SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT. Also, the batteries are NOT included - which is a bummer since when you give it to a kid, a toy like this, it's not something you think of. Fortunately I have my receipt and will return!!!

I would purchase for a very young child!
Was hoping they would be much louder than they are! You can barely hear them. Would be nice if they had an adjustment to turn it louder or softer,,,other than that, it is a good product!

Too sensitive - very annoying
I've had these bongos for a while, and the problem with them is that they are way too sensitive. If I walk purposefully on the other side of the room they go off. And the on/off switch is a real pain to get at. Give these a miss, buy a real drum.

Disappointed!
This was a Christmas gift for our grandchild, who is just starting to learn to use it. After very little use the toy seems to be shorting out-music stops and restarts, sounds are unpredictable. I expected more from Melissa and Doug. What a disappointment.

Very disappointed!
I Purchased these Bungo drums for my one year-old grandson for Christmas. I wanted to make sure it worked when he opened the toy so we also bought batteries. When we opened the carton to put the batteries in the toy there was no battery pack there. Called the store where we bought it and they did not have another one to replace it and then called the company store number. Have yet to hear back from them. I'm going to just return it to the store where I purchased it and after reading the reviews I will not re-buy it.

If I could give it a negative a score I would.
Bought this for my 7 month old and the sounds quality is terrible. It's way too sensitive and distorted.
