    Easy to use

    Easy to use! This stuff worked out great! Here’s a before and after. I really didn’t like the color of my gloss nails so I wanted to make them matte and I’m happy I did.

    Pleasantly surprised

    This is the first matte top coat I tried and I love how it turned out, I did figure out for me anyway that for it not to streak I had a good amount on the brush and did a few quick swipes and then did a second coat, I like that it didn’t take long to dry. Very happy with how it turned out. Now I just have to see how long it lasts

    Dries a lot faster than regular top coat

    Absolutely love the matte finish!! Make sure to apply generous amount otherwise it would leave striking finish - or if it happens, simply apply a second layer and it should be all good! Another surprising bonus is how fast it dries - totally wasn’t expecting this! You can visibly see the finish turning from shiny to matte, and when it turns matte, it’s dry!

    Matte nail polish works

    Matte polish looks good! If you don’t get the polish on all parts of the nail do a second coat. Had to do a second coat on most of my nails to achieve the matte look. Especially on the sides of my nails. Accidentally hit a star in the how easy to remove-I have not tried to do this, disregard my 1-star pls.

    Loved: the way that this top coat makes the nail polish look! Absolutely nails the matte look!! LOATHED ENTIRELY: the fact that your polish will begin to chip by the end of day 1 and by the end of day 2 it’ll look like you’ve been wearing the polish a week. OPI standards are so high, I honestly don’t know how they haven’t fixed this gigantic issue in the last 4-5 years since the last time I bought this matte top coat.

    Disappointed because I expect better from OPI. Definitely gives a matte finish. Really changes / lightens the color of the polish as well. Gloopy and difficult to apply, really streaky and leaves a very textured finish. Not a fan. I will finish the bottle but not repurchase. I have ruined a few good manicures by using this topcoat at the end.

    Unwanted white flacks

    Let me say I love how this polish works as a Mate top coat. But What’s the deal with the white flacks that ruin my beautiful mate finish? I’ve bought this product a couple times because I thought it was something I did. Nope it’s the polish. OPI. Anyway to fix? Not sure I can recommend if it ruins your manicure.

    Leaves weird white dots even when shaken

    Bought this a couple weeks ago, only used it a few times because it leaves weird white dots on my nails even if I shake Inbetween each nail/coat. It shows up as my nails dry and I take care not to get them dirty while drying. don’t think I’ll keep using this or buy it ever again.
