Q: You say this isn't toxic, but the first ingredient listed is isopropyl alcohol! Explain to me how that's not toxic? I'm also not seeing an age recommendation on this listing.

A: Isopropyl alcohol is used as a solvent/liquid in many products including this one it dries quickly and evaporates. Unless you drink it out of the bottle you would not be consuming any isopropyl alcohol as it would be evaporated out by the time the product is dry on the nail

A: Hi there! This should not change the taste of the food, but it’s possible if you're spending a lot of time with your hands submerged in foots (hand mixing items, for example) it may have an effect. If you're feeding your daughter by hand and a finger nail physically enters her mouth, she will certainly taste it! We hope this helps!

It's extremely bitter and unpleasant. It's also very effective as a biting deterrent, so maybe use a spoon to feed your child if you're serious about not biting your nails.

This tastes absolutely disgusting- which is great! There’s no smell, but it has a very strong bitter taste that lasts. I’ve found with my child with ADHD and compulsion to bite nails, it needs to be re-applied every couple days. It doesn’t work perfectly, the brain still produces such a strong drive for stimulation, but it HAS reduced the constant nail-biting and licking tremendously!

The taste is disgusting!! I bite my nails or chew on them daily and have been doing so for 20+ years. I’ve already tried subconsciously to chew on them and I get met with the taste. It’s pretty strong and lingers in your mouth for a bit. Which is good. So far works well. They also have a bit of a gloss to them, maybe a bit of a pinkish tint but it looks natural and good!

I’m 20 and have bitten my nails until it’s literally impossible to bite them anymore ever since I could remember. It’s hard because it makes me very insecure about my hands! With the added stress of finals week I decided to try this out! It dries quick and has a bitter taste that lasts for days. It reminds me not to put my fingers near my mouth at all. Only kinda bad thing is that you can’t eat too many finger foods without tasting it— but it’s worth it to me!

I have been a nail biter for most of my life and it has been a very hard habit for me to break. I had acrylic nails on for about a month and after taking them off, I felt a lot better having my nails grown out and decided to give this polish a try. Since my nails had grown so much with the acrylics on, this polish has been a good reminder for me to leave them alone. However, I gave 4 stars because I think if I hadn’t had the acrylics and just tried to stop with this polish, I don’t think it would have worked for me. Taste is definitely bitter and seems to last awhile

I have tried multiple different nail biting polishes over the years but they never work. It has a pretty nasty taste so it’s def working lol. Only downside is that it seems to chip off fairly quickly, so I have to reapply.

I’m 37 years old and have had a horrible nail biting habit for as long as I can remember. Recently, my 8 year old daughter has picked up the same habit so I decided we had to try this together. This polish has a horribly bitter taste which is exactly what you want in a product like this. It’s been a great deterrent for both of us in keeping our fingers away from our mouths. Yes, you do need to reapply every couple of days, but it dries very quickly and is so worth it. I 100% recommend.

I used this for my child finger sucking and this has helped him not put his finger in the mouth. The polish doesn’t effect other things such as eating but avoids finger sucking. Head up…you will need to apply daily due to some removal with hand washing and bathing
