Toddler loves these and so do I

The toys are small and a choking hazard for children who put things in their mouths and not a fan of the hard plastic present boxes, but the mini toys are adorable. Helps with so much: colors, “open/shut/in/out” numbers, counting. Even the little toys have a color on them that matches the box they belong to. Love these so much! And for $13 for the 10 boxes and presents its a GREAT value. I would have paid more even. 10/10

I would buy this product again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this product in my speech therapy practice. I hide words and numbers inside the boxes, and when the kiddo opens it, he has to say the word as many times as the number says, so we get lots of repetitions. So far this has been very motivating to my kiddos, and I have been able to use this toy in many ways. The only thing I don't like about it is how hard the plastic presents are. Sometimes my kids throw them, and I'm afraid they will break. I would like them to be the softer plastic, like the little toys inside.

Get it to have PRESENTS and ACCESSORIES for all your other toys and playsets!!! MEGA WIN!

This toy is FANTASTIC for so many reasons! The present boxes open and close easily for surprise egg play, but they also double as present toys for all of our other playsets and toys! Peppa pig, Mickey mouse, Barbie, Calico Critters-- everyone has presents for pretend birthday parties and Christmas! Also, the trinkets inside of the present boxes are great quality. We use them in play with our other playsets, too! My daughter received them when she was 2 years old. My kids are STILL playing with these every day (daughter 3, son 7) because of the versatility! The ways to play with this toy are literally endless. Get it to have accessories and present boxes for all of your other toys, it's worth it for that alone! Get it to have "surprise egg" containers that actually work for small hands to open and close by themselves! Either way, just get it. This is one of those sets that is a MEGA WIN no matter how you slice it. It's perfect for play!

Perfect toy for young curious hands!

An excellent toy for young ones who are curious and love opening presents (Who doesn't enjoy, opening presents!) The toy contains 10 bright coloured present boxes, that when opened reveal little treasures (small toys). Firstly the colours of the boxes, are thought-provoking and suitable for both boys and girls. The numbers allow them to develop their counting skills and gain confidence with number recognition. Our two (3-year-old girl, and 6-year-old boy) have loved this toy for WEEKS it has been used with such enjoyment. They use it to play number games, or to pre-tend play 'Christmas' & 'Birthday' with their other toys. The boxes open and close easily for little hands, and the small toys are very thoughtful and relevant. With small groves to allow the boxes and lids to match up, this took a couple of attempts for our three-year-old to master, but she did so easily. A toy that takes pride of place in our toy collection, thank you Learning Resources.

Kids love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The learning resources counting surprise party is the perfect gift for any child. Not only are you giving them a toy, but you are also providing your child with much needed learning skills. My kids love blocks and wanted to know more about them and how to stack them in numerical order. Now that everyone is at home, this is the perfect toy that entertains and teaches my child invaluable skills. I really love how they have characters in each stacking block. My kids have learned their numbers and colors while playing with these blocks and having fun at the same time.

Hard to find ........... both

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is always hard to find something a 3-4yo are interested in and can actually learn something from it. The kids like playing with it and we are hoping the numbers kick in. WELL worth a shot . No downside. Some small things we have to watch they don't put in there mouths.
