Formula changed. I have been buying this shampoo for years, both from Target and the official Curls Dynasty site. The last two purchases from Target were terrible. The shampoo seems to be half oil, is very runny, and coats my hair with more oil instead of cleaning it. Previously, the shampoo was creamy, lather-y and cleaned my scalp and hair well. Last time, I had to let the oil separate from the rest of the product, then I meticulously poured out the oil since it sat on top. I was then able to use the shampoo which cleaned like normal. This time I will be returning it.

Really love this shampoo. I’ve been using it for about a month now after noticing my hair had been protein saturated and was in need of some moisture. I added this to my wash and go routine and have definitely noticed a difference. It feels both moisturizing and cleansing and the nozzle makes it so easy to get to my roots. It also smells really nice but not in an overpowering way at all. My 4B short length hair is very happy! Only con I see with the product is that it is a bit on the pricey side for a shampoo as small as it is.

I am a huge fan of curls dynasty's styling products, so I wanted to get this to add to my collection. I've been natural for 2 years and have never used an entire product line before. I used this to shampoo out curls dynasty styling products. I was expecting a luxuriously lavish and moisturizing shampoo that could possibly be a a tad more cleansing than a cowash. What I got was an incredibly stripping and drying shampoo that left my hair a tangled mess and smelled like a prescription dandruff shampoo. Reading the other reviews I cant help thinking if perhaps I got a bad batch. Either way I will be retuning this and continue the search for a moisturizing shampoo

This was my first experience with the brand and I am now a new fan! This shampoo is my new fave and it was just absolutely amazing. It cleansed my hair so well, got the build up out and left my hair soft as if it were conditioned. I had beeswax in my hair from braids, so I was really surprised! I also like the bottle. It's easy to get the product directly on my roots. I will be using this from now on and trying out other products from the line.
