Disappointed
I have been using Thayers for 6 years. They are a key ingredient to my skin care routine. Unfortunately, they have discontinued 2 toners that worked well with me (lemon and lemongrass without salicylic acid). The pass few weeks I have tried 3 other Thayer option and my skin has been breaking out as well as dry. Please go back to original formula.

Blemish clearing? More like blemish causing.
This new formula is causing me to break out. The number of ingredient changes compared to the old formula is wild! I can't believe they even tried to pass this off as the same product. The new formula is absolute garbage. I had a stable routine involving this product but now need to find something different because this new formula has ruined my skin and again, is expensive garbage.

New formula is such a disappointment. No longer the same product, AT ALL. The quality went down, the price went up, and we are being lied to because they say the only thing that has changed is the look... truly disgusting. Wish I could rate 0 stars.

Your loyal customers are begging you to revert back to the original formula. I thought it was just me but after seeing a ton of recent reviews, it’s clear that it has changed and is now causing breakouts instead of resolving them. The original was the only thing that actually kept my skin clear and I’ve been using it for years, same as many other reviewers. This is extremely disappointing to so many of your customers and I anticipate you will lose many if the original product doesn’t return.

Slimy
I've been using this formula for years and it really worked...WITHOUT HYRALURIC ACID. Go back to the old formula... HA just makes my skin slimy and I think it's actually making me break out. The whole point of the original formula was to 'dry out' skin that was on the oily side or acne prone. Disappointed and frustrated I have to look for a new solution.

Disappointed in the long run
I have had this product for a couple of months and at first it worked great and I felt that my skin was improving. Then the liquid began to separate and now anytime I use it makes suds and my skin has become more sensitive to it. I even checked the open date time and I am well within it. There's still much left in the bottle but I'm afraid I now need to toss it :(.

Not the same great product it once was, it's gross
I would give 0 stars if I could. Was my favourite product, now it stinks and is slimey. The scent is unbearable (not good for scent free workplaces) as I can smell it under my makeup. Why was the formula sneakily changed with the label (new look same product -flat out lie). Will never buy again.

Literally no new pimples for me or my husband while using this and it didn’t irritate our skin at all either! Helped any existing pimples disappear. Smell is mild and pleasant and fades quickly. We only use it 1-2 times a week and it keeps our skin clear. I much prefer it to other salicylic acid I’ve tried in the past like neutrogena. Will continue to buy this instead. Please never change the formula!!!

If it ain’t broke…
similar to other reviewers I am disappointed by the change to the new formula and the shift away from the lemongrass. I noticed the label doesn’t show the which hazel is from CT anymore, the organic ingredients from the prior label are gone, and L’Oreal is now listed as the company. I hadn’t realized Thayer was bought by L’Oreal in 2020 as they hadn’t put that on the labels prior. Seems like the all too common story of a classic company with high standards being taken over by a conglomerate that sinks quality for profits. I’ll be looking for a new toner which is a bummer because this was the finest on the market and helped my skin better than anything else I’ve tried. New formula leaves residue and just doesn’t work.

Once again a product that I truly love was reformulated to be absolutely horrible. Completely disappointed with this new formula. It makes my face super oily by the end of the day. Please for the sake of your loyal customers go back to the old formula.

Sneakily changed the product, new formula is worse
Imagine my surprise when yet another company changes the formula on their product for cheaper and more unnatural ingredients. My wife has used the old formula for a long time and loved it. When she was running out I picked up the new stuff because I thought it was just a label change. Wrong, it's a formula and label and name change (lazily done since they still reference the old bottle on their product page but it has the new name). I brought it home and immediately she noticed the change. States it feels slimy and smells off. I asked her to try it anyones and she was pretty disappointed. We ended up returning it to the store. Time to find a new company, since their old stuff is unable to be purchased. If I could rate it a 0 I would.
