Good cable

I hate dongles and was really happy to find this to go from my MacbookPro to my monitor. I've always been happy with the price and quality of monoprice cables. The cable seems well-shielded and sturdy (i.e., the sheath is thick enough that I don't expect it to damage/fray). It transmits audio and video.

Much better than the brick

This cable gives you a better picture quality than that of the tri brick versions if you are just using it to facilitate the usb-c to hdmi conversion. Also this is less expensive. Works great!!

Awesome power delivery

Got a really nice power delivery. Monitor now recognizes the HDMI output which it couldn't do with cheaper cables from Amazon.
