Fisher-Price Little People Work Together Dump Truck

This was a gift for a special needs child. He played with it without assistance. It was a good choice.

Had some problems with the first delivery going to the wrong address but Target couldn't have been more helpful and efficient in handling the situation. Very impressed.

I bought this over a year ago for $16. It’s now marked up to $24 with a sale price of $15. Target, you aren’t slick.

I love it! My grandson likes to play with balls and it has the two boulders on the back. I was so surprised to find it has sounds to go along with the operations. I can't wait to give it to him for Christmas!

I’m a huge Fisher Price little People fan but this is the worst priced thing they make. It’s not much bigger than the $5 vehicles. Don’t waste your money.

GrwT for toddler hands. Easy to dump the bed, grey rocks don't look like candy so 3 or older should not be tempted to put in mouth. Comes with one person that can be a driver or fit in bed of dump truck.

Fun toy and fun sounds

Great classic Fisher-Price Little People toy. Perfect for toddlers, easy grip and operate. 22-month-old took to it right away, loading boulders and dumping them. There is a sound button and a hard-hat dumptruck driver who will work with other Little People toy sets. Built sturdy to stand-up to rought toddler play and hand down to siblings, cousins and more.

He enjoys taking it outside and filling up the bed of truck with things he finds outside such as rocks and leaves. When you press the red lever it releases the dump bed and makes noise. This is one of his favorites features. The toy has held up great so far and I see lots of play time with it in his future.

It's rugged enough for outdoor play and it accompanies him outdoors to help clear leaves off the lawn or move gravel on the driveway. A big red lever tips the truck's dump bed, releasing the two plastic boulders that are included or whatever your child decides would make a good payload. The truck talks for itself and its driver Little People figure with a few pre-programmed phrases and vehicle noises and even short songs, which my child enjoyed singing along with. However, it's very much a toy that encourages creative play and participation rather than passive watching; your child has to provide the movement and decide what job the truck is assigned to today. This truck is a new version of a perennial childhood favorite and has a ton of replay value!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let's not bury the lede - this is an all around fantastic Little People's vehicle. The truck is pretty substantial by Little People standards - about 10 inches long and 6.5 inches high. The vehicle is well made and the dumping bed has been able to withstand the machinations of my rambunctious 3 year old. And, as will all Little People toys, the people and the vehicles are interchangeable with your other Little People figures and sets. The hidden star of the show here is actually the sounds of the vehicles. Most Little People vehicles generally make a few sounds triggered by pressing on the driver. A few vehicles have an additional action that can generate another sound of two. For whatever reason Fisher-Price went all out with the audio on this truck. The dumping lever rotates through no less than 10 completely different sounds. The sounds vary from different loads being dumped (dirt, glass, etc.), to songs, and to my son's favorite a declaration of "Boulder Crash!". They then continued to add more audio by having the driver's seat generate another 5 different pieces of audio. This is by far the most audio we have every gotten out of a Little People vehicle. If your child is into the Little People universe, and would be into having a dump truck in their collection, this vehicle will not disappoint.

My son loved that it was interactive! It kept him occupied and the smiles were ever-lasting! Would definitely recommend as a gift for a little kiddo who loves vehicles!
