Description

Use this cable for connecting your DVI equiped HDTV or monitor to the DisplayPort connector on your computer without the hassle of using a separate adapter. This reliable, high performance cable has flexible 28AWG, tin plate conduits with pure copper cores and gold plated connectors for long life. Note: While DisplayPort connectors are capable of passing aDVI signal, DisplayPort and DVI signals are basically different and not compatible with each other. In order for this cable to function properly, you must have a DisplayPort source device capable of producing and passing out a DVI signal through the DisplayPort jack. Note* These cables are not recommended for eyefinity setups, as they are a passive cable adapter.

Does not work with DELL 3007WP

Did not work as specified. Only allowed 1280x800 res on my Dell 3007 WP monitor running Windows 10 Pro 64bit with latest updates and drivers.

Thanks to this cable, I now can run 3 monitors

Like some people, I have an often dis-used Display Port because most momnitors I've seen do not suporta Display Port natively. Then comes Monoprice with JUST what I needed. I prefer cables in place of adapters to rduce the number of connectors the signal goes thru. This worked like a charm

Bought this hoping to plug it into my HP laptop, well, it doesn't plug into the HDMI port on the computer. I couldn't find any description as far as size goes on any cable so I opted for another one that looks, in the photo, like it might work. Now, as far as the cable I received was perfect but it just was the wrong size for my application. The delivery was prompt and the packaging was adequate.

Great quality, not very flexible if that is a factor.

Appears to be excellent quality and heavy duty. The cable is a bit heavier gauge than some others, so not as flexible. Our monitors are mounted on arms, so the cable has to make some tight bends, and this cable is a little heavy for that, but they work. Otherwise, they work great.
