I get the book is supposed to teach your kid a bedtime routine but this story isn’t it. I kinda saw it as a story reminding a kid what not to do during a bedtime routine. I like the books by this author but this one wasn’t a favorite of ours.

The book is super cute with all the different type of animals wearing PJs. The book has rhyming that allows the story to really flow well, all while being entertained by counting down to bed time. Very colorful, eye catching patterns on the animals PJs… my son and I enjoyed reading and pointing out different things on each page.
