Cute book. We have a couple from the same author. I often give it as a baby shower gift. I think it’s helpful for little eyes that the characters are all outlined in black. Seemed to pay more attention to these than some of the other books we tried at bedtime.

This book means so much to me! I discovered it when my daughter was a newborn. Reading it to her helped banish the baby blues. The rhymes sound beautiful when read aloud. God is not mentioned in the book. However, it’s a perfect segue into bedtime prayers and thanking Him for “the precious gift of sight” and for the “7 rainbow colors” that “make our world so bright.” It’s my go to baby shower gift now.

I love the idea of the book as we like to say our thanks at night, but this book, unfortunately, isn’t the greatest at saying thanks for everyday things. There’s not very good rhyming or catchiness to it for a young child, and pictures were cute but not capturing enough to draw more attention to the book
