I bought this lamp and it was great for 1 1/2 years. It worked as promised. But recently the bulb for the top light went. Guess what? The bulb is NOT replaceable!!! Dumb!! If the bulb goes you have to throw the whole lamp out!

This lamp is well-designed with quality parts. The post is made from good quality chrome steel and quite rigid. It's also in two parts instead of the usual three, making it less likely to loosen up. The controls are very nice, easy to turn and conveniently placed. My mom is 95, short and legally blind. She can easily operate the controls since they are low down on the post. She loves it. I hope it lasts. My mom is to floor lamps what Sherman was to Atlanta.

I’ve had the lamp for a week. It is definitely a nice, modern looking lamp. And it provides the perfect amount of light that I need both for the area and reading on the couch. It is difficult for one person to put it together. I am fairly handy and I couldn’t do it alone. Because it is tall and supported by two thin long rods bolted to the base, without any other support, it does rock back-and-forth a bit every time you touch it to turn it on or off. And, the 3000K light is a little harsher then I would prefer for the room. It is more of a whiter light than a softer yellow that maybe a 2000K or 2500K light would give you. After looking online at a zillion floor lamps, I chose this light because it was perfect for my situation; the styling and the function was exactly what I was looking for. I certainly would have preferred it to be more stable with a softer light source. Unless the “perfect” lamp falls into my lap any time soon, I will be happy with this one.

The perfect floor and reading lamp for our mid-century modern living room. The light it casts toward the ceiling is nicely diffused, and the focused reading light is just right. Would definitely buy again.

I strongly recommend this lamp and Lamps Plus It came extremely well packed for protection and was easy to assemble. The lamp provides ambiant lighting as well as it is perfect for reading. Looks great in my office.

Both my wife and I enjoy the lamp we keep it next to our book shelves do we use the smaller lamp and then the overhead lamp to light our living room.

Very pleased with brightness and flexibility of reading light. Had to untwist lamp parts from packaging to properly assemble. It took longer to unpack the extensive shipping protections than to assemble lamp. All parts were there. I should have cleaned the glass top prior to assembling, since it was more difficult after assembly.
