Eucerin’s Advanced Cleansing Body & Face Cleanser gently cleanses normal-to-dry sensitive skin. Part of Eucerin’s Advanced Repair line, this soap-free formula for face and body helps prevent skin from drying out. It helps to maintain skin’s optimal pH level (5 on the pH spectrum), and helps preserve skin’s protective barrier. The mild cleanser is gentle and rinses clean without leaving a residue. Advanced Cleansing Body & Face Cleanser is fragrance free, dye free and paraben free. To use: Gently massage onto wet skin to create a light lather, Rinse and pat skin dry. It is best to limit bathing time for sensitive skin to less than 5 minutes. After showering with the Advanced Cleanser, pair with Eucerin Advanced Repair Lotion to help replenish skin’s moisture for long lasting 48 hour moisture.

The new formulation is more allergenic and contains sodium benzoate. Cannot use it.

Drying/irritating
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have dry, sensitive skin and this did not help that at all which irritated my skin more. I found it to be very drying and the smell was offensive like fingernail polish remover???? Odd. My advice: if you have my skin type, be careful with this.

Surprised in a great way!!!
This is the holy grail of fragrance free body washes! It lathers extremely well. Has a very slight scent which isn’t listed as an added artificial fragrance in the ingredients. I cannot use body washes that contain this kind of fragrance because it messes with my ph levels intensely. What I like most of all is that I feel super clean and it beyond softens my skin from head to toe. A little goes a long way. I find most fragrance free body washes are mostly drying and a lot of product must be used to really get the full effect of the wash. This one by far exceeds my expectations.

I was excited to try this new face/body wash as Eucerin products are fragrance free and tend to be more gentle but it was too drying for my dry, sensitive skin. It feels smooth when washing but as soon as I rinsed, my skin became tight and red therefore I cannot recommend this for dry skin.

Disclaimer: If you're looking for moisture, look elsewhere. As someone with eczema prone skin, this is exactly what I needed for the hotter weather. I notice that in the winter I need a more moisturizing product and in the summer, a cleanser. I was using Cetaphil Deep Cleansing Bars, but I noticed my skin didn't like the moisture with the heat so I decided to give this a try. It works great! I also switched from the Cetaphil Cream Moisturizer to the Cetaphil Soothing Gel Cream. My skin definitely appreciates the gel like products during this time :)
