Description

The Fresh & Save vacuum containers are designed to work with the vacuum pump to keep food fresh up to five times longer than non-vacuum storage. They are available in borosilicate glass or BPA-free plastic. Both versions are stackable and freezer, microwave (without vacuum seal), and dishwasher safe. Glass containers are ovenproof (without lid) and double as beautiful serving pieces at the table. Each container style is available in a range of sizes so you can store an entire leftover dinner, a light lunch, or a small to-go snack. With the Fresh & Save system, you can shop once a week and refrigerate or freeze fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, and fish in our vacuum containers and bags and enjoy the benefits of your own fresh market at home. Prepare your meals days in advance and enjoy them as fresh as the day they were cooked. Cook meat sous vide or marinate meat for the grill in just 30 minutes in the vacuum bags and containers.     Small one useless

    I absolutely love the rectangle set, nice and stackable. The little one is almost useless and a waste of money. The set should start with the middle size, the large one and then there should be one even larger.

    Keep leftovers & wet catfood fresh

    We use several of the small size containers every day, to store anything from leftovers to wet cat food (though we've recently switched to the round glass bowls for that, the shape just fits the cans better). The new lids consistently keep the seal. Same size containers stack less than half height and a selection definitely needs some storage space. They look like new after a year of constant use. We hand wash the lids, they tend not to get any sauce or dirt on them typically and a quick rinse will do. What can we say, keeps the kitty happy and they are the true gourmet noses regarding freshnes, no?

    Don't buy - lids are a pain to clean

    Terrible user-unfriendly lids... Cleaning these are a nightmare and not at all worth it.

    Love the functionality

    I love this line of products. It’s so versatile. It saves space in cabinet & the glass is so thick and durable. My food lasts longer in fridge. Even stacking it there saves room. I love that it’s so convenient and functional. I’ve bought additional pieces and I use them consistently. Great product.

    Glass vacuum sealer containers

    I absolutely love the handheld vacuum sealer and using the glass containers. They are great to maintain the integrity of the food you are preserving. They are wonderful quality and I just love the QR scan feature with the app that tells you how long your food is good for.

    Great idea, poor design

    Great idea, but one by one each glass container I bought chipped and then could no longer seal. We are not a cattle household, but still one tiny little bump and the edge chipped. The product is advertised to nest which in the process of doing that is when the glass broke. I wish I could just get replacements for the glass pieces dice I still have the tops and vacuum sealer. I would maybe store them not nested in order to not risk chipping the glass. What a waste.

    reliability might be an issue

    We reallylike these containers. we've had mixed luck with the bags but these glass containers, though expensive, prolongue food storage.. we've had 1 top crack which has been our only complaint.

    Amazing Product -

    Love these products - purchased several containers - both glass and stainless steel - and been using them for the last 2 weeks. I've replaced all my old mis-matched storage bowls with these. I use these containers to repackage most all items I put in my fridge - in the past storage bowls stayed in the cupboard until needed - but these you can actually utilize to repackage any and all your food items to keep them fresher and last a bit longer - It keeps my fridge super organized and clean looking. the ease in which you can vacuum seal your items is a huge advantage - love the rechargeable device - no more batteries!

    Veggies

    I keep certain sliced veggies in these (carrots, sweet peppers, sugar snap peas). In week 2 after WAY over-preparing hosting an NCAA tournament party, my peppers still snapped! So I ate them! Highly recommend this.

    Great with Vaccum, but inconvenient without it.

    I love the fact that it's a glass container, and can withstand a variety of heats, including the microwave. I don't have to worry about plastic degrading over time, because the glass will forever remain easy to clean. The lids, though easy to use with the vaccum, are frusterating without one despite the description saying they still maintain a seal. Yes, they do seal, however the lid is held on by gravity and nothing more.
