Cleans great and don't dry skin out

This is my husband's favorite face wash. It works great at exfoliating under his beard and is gentle on his sensitive skin

This used to be a miracle product for me, and it’s so sad to see that they’ve more or less started watering it down. It doesn’t work half as well on my skin anymore, so I’m guessing they just cut back on the active ingredients. I’d check out Necessaire or Ingredients Wellness as alternative brands.

I've been using this product for years upon years. Lately it seems as if the product is watered down. It used to be a thicker consistency. This hasn't stopped me from buying it yet but it has caught my attention.

I have so many acne cleansers it's unbelievable. This is the absolute best face wash I've ever used! Cleans pores, treats blemishes, doesn't dry out skin, balances oil/dryness. Just get it, you won't regret it!

I decided to try my husband's face wash and it removed my make up and acne.I've never been so clear in all my life. My skin is not so dry. It's a life saver. I used the Jack black double duty face lotion just on the dry spots of my face. I love it. I'm going to buy this for him and I now.

This product is great for women too! I have used this product for 4 years to wash my face every night, and it is the best for removing makeup at the end of the day - I always feel super clean too! Also, for the past 4 years, I have been generally acne free, and I attribute that to this product. The product removes all oils/makeup/etc. from your face, so afterwards, your face may feel a little dry. However, it isn't a problem if you put on your favorite moisturizer afterwards. The only con about this cleanser is that if it cakes at the top, it will clog the tube, but it is easy to unclog with a toothpick.

Purchased this exfoliating cleanser for my fiancé to exfoliate his beard, but he doesn't care for it too much. He said he prefers a gentler face cleanser so I won't be purchasing again.

I bought this for my boyfriend because he has thick facial hair (not a long beard however) and he does manual labor so he often comes home with dirt, oil and who knows what else on his face. His beard gets itchy from trapped dry skin and I found this was the perfect solution for him to get rid of the itchiness and to clean the grime from a long day of work off his face. It works wonderfully! And a little goes a long way

I was using this face wash daily. I wanted to wait a couple weeks before writing a review. At first I liked this product. A week in and my skin started to burn, itch and now I have red spots. It's extremely drying. My skin is more textured and rough looking than ever. I had high hopes for this product because the reviews were so good. I would advise people with sensitive/acne prone skin to avoid this harsh product. I did also try it as a mask and could not keep it on longer than a minute because it was burning my skin so badly.

I swear by this product. I tried a sample once & I've been buying it for 3-4 years now & will not use any other face wash ever! It's weird that it's specifically for men but it works wonders on my acne prone skin. I am 22 & on birth control but this stuff is the best face wash I've ever used for my skin.

The clay works great for removing impurities. I've tried a lot of overpriced cleansers with glycolic acid and this one is the best. Doesn't dry my face out, it feels very clean and acne free. I'm on my 2nd tube and wanted to make sure I saw consistent results before writing a review.

So this face wash/mask is amazing BUT it caused a major purge on my skin! That is not necessarily bad but it will make you breakout for about 2 weeks then all the sudden BAM my breakouts have flattened, my texture is improving, and my skin is softer! Gycolic acid will generally cause some sort of purge (you can look it up if you don't believe me lol) but as long as you stick with the wash, don't give up, you'll start seeing some decent results in a couple weeks. I use in conjunction w/ heritage store rose water, cosrx snail mucin, and then cerave daily moisturizer. My acne is typically hormonal & cystic along my jaw but when I purged it was around my cheeks. A purge is not a bad reaction.. a bad reaction is when your skin has small bumps/redness/itching/burning/stinging I DID NOT have this reaction.. my purge was cystic that eventually formed white heads. I tried my best not to pick or pop the white heads. My skin never burned or was irritated while I used this face wash. I hope this helps anyone with acne!

Best results that I've ever had from a men's facial cleanser. Works well as a mask. It's worth the money.

My wife got me into skincare, and i tried a few other brands prior to JB. and when i finally tried JB, it was amazing. the product has incredible scents and does an incredible job. the 1 and ONLY issue is that every time i used the product, i got this huge red rash in my chin area. i used multiple JB products and the result was all the same. hands down one of the best product, and i would recommend to get it, except the fact that there may be something that you could be allergic to

I have suffered from acne basically since I was 12. When I tell you I have tried everything, do I mean I have tried everything. I tried the drying approach, salycillic acid, benzyl peroxide, and azelic acid from drugstore and name brand. Anything from Neutrogena, to Clinique, Estee Lauder, Somerville, Murad, Kiehls, Curology, Proactive, and even things you've probably never heard of. Then I tried the natural approach; rose hip oils, tea tree, and assorted natural serums. I did the prescriptions topical creams, the prescription antibiotics and nothing seemed to really work. This face wash leaves my face tight but SO clean. I leave it on as a mask and when I wash it off, my face feels FRESH and I have not had a new breakout or pimple since I started this wash. Though this seems like a men's brand, I am a woman and I can honestly say this is curing my acne, slowly, but surely. If you feel like you have tried everything, forget the price and try this wash and couple it with the clean break moisturizer. I do not regret my decision at all.
