Wood chips breaking off and difficult to fit for toddlers
I was very excited for a more complex puzzle for my 3 year old but was very disappointed this was made out of thin wood that peels or chips off. From our initial trying of the puzzle we had to clean up a ton of wood dust/chips/splinters. The puzzle is also very tightly fitting and not very forgiving for a 3 year old so it discourages play and decreases enthusiasm and confidence. I do not recommend at all.
