  • A: Hi Lolo! While bottom watering is beneficial for seedlings, our peat-free plantable seed starting pots are not recommended to bottom water. Much needed to start your spring garden!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As spring is approaching, I am beginning to start planting new plants so these starting pots were the perfect addition! I love that the pots are so small that I can plant many different varieties of plants at once. They are the perfect size to start your seedling and so convenient to just put into the ground once the seedling starts to grow!

Can’t wait for spring

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Back to the Roots plantable seed starting pots are a simple, eco-friendly win for anyone starting seeds at home. Made without peat, glues, or binders, they feel sturdy enough to hold soil and moisture well, yet break down easily once planted, which helps roots grow strong without transplant shock. I like that you can move seedlings straight into the ground or a larger pot—no mess, no wasted plastic, and no root disturbance. They’re breathable, hold their shape during watering, and align nicely with sustainable gardening goals, making them a practical and guilt-free choice for beginners and experienced gardeners alike.

Thoughtfully made eco friendly pots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Eco-friendly and thoughtfully made, these break down well once planted and support healthy root growth. The pots hold moisture nicely without getting soggy. Packaging is simple, recyclable, and informative—though the pots can feel a bit fragile when wet.

Great cups!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are incredible! They are fun for young gardeners and adults alike. We’ve planted a variety of things and they’ve all functioned great, soft enough to hold water but not so daft that they fall apart (a common problem among other brands).

Seed stating pits

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are compostable seed starting pots. I’ve compared it with a tulip bulb for size reference, but it’s a good size for starting new seeds in. I like how the pots can be planted directly into the ground.

As a millennial mama trying to keep my home cute and eco-friendly, I’m super impressed. They’re organic, peat-free, and you can literally plant the whole pot—no mess, no stress. Nice seed pot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to set up and use. Soil seems to settle in well with no issue. Drainage is decent for a seed starting pot but can’t be a long term pot. Overall a decent product.

Sturdy, eco-friendly, and perfect for stress-free

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These organic plantable seed pots are fantastic! They’re sturdy, eco-friendly, and make transplanting completely stress-free—no root shock at all. My seedlings sprouted quickly and the pots held up long enough to keep them hydrated but still broke down perfectly once planted. Highly recommend for anyone looking to simplify gardening while reducing plastic waste.

Easy, convenient, organic seed-starting pots for a

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love these "Back to the Roots" brand Organic, Plantable Seed-Starting Pots. Makes gardening so much easier. The organic pots make it especially convenient to get seeds started. I just add nutrient-rich soil to the small pots, along with my seeds, and watch the plants sprout & grow. Then once the small plants have started growing and are ready to be placed in a permanent growing spot, I can simply plant them in the ground or in my raised garden beds. There's no need to remove the seedling plant from the container...simply dig, insert plant pot into the soil, cover w/dirt, and watch it grow! Highly recommend these Back to the Roots pots. Really easy & convenient for those who love to garden like me.

Love these for my starter plants!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The organic & plantable seed starting pots are great for starter plants. the size is small and light weight, and can be easily more managed for smaller plants. They help to protect the roots as they start to grow. The pots are decomposable and will breakdown over time due to being made of natural biodegradable material like peat, cow manure, or recycled paper. You simply plant the whole pot with the plant. Love these.
