LOVE THIS!!! Smells faintly like manly cologne, a pleasant forest, and buff man. Love the addition of olive and oil and aloe Vera and the avoidance of chemicals. Buy it, you won’t regret it.

It smells like men's deodorant and not in a good way. Old spice? Anyways I bought the Baylis & Harding Cedar soap instead and that has a nice woodsy scent--though I will say Ms Meyer is much better for keeping hands moisturized post washing. I like rose and peony so far from MM

I almost never write reviews, but specifically logged on to post this - unlike other Mrs. Meyer soaps, this scent is so overly strong and lingers on the hands. It actually smells nice, but is over-the-top completely overpowering.

This is the BEST scent I'm disappointed it's not available in bulk refill!! It's so wasteful to keep buying the smaller bottles but truly every guest in my home immediately asks about it after using this soap. Please make bulk refills for handsoap!!

The scent was not quite what I was expecting but it is pleasant. I was expecting something more outdoorsy smelling. This is not, in that I was disappointed as I was hoping from description. But, it sure does smell good. It's definitely more of a male scented soap. It smells very much like Men's cologne. I have placed it in the bathroom my Husband uses the most so he can get a little break from my typical flowery scented soap. Nice change for the winter months. cozy scent.

Method used to make a fall woodsy scent that I loved and I can no longer find it. I saw this Birchwood by Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day and had hope it would be similar given the scent description and reviews. It's a tad more manly and less woodsy, but it's the closest I am going to get for a new fall soap to use after Halloween and before my holiday spiced soap. And it cleans well, overall I'd buy it again, but the scent is not for everyone!

This is my second order of the Birchwood fragrance. I love the smell! We also use the Lemon Verbena. Both are great soaps. Very gentle on the hands. I'm hooked and will continue to use both products.

The scent of this soap was disgusting, smells like the cheapest foulest cologne. I'm very confused as to how a seemingly "clean", non-toxic brand could put out a product with this degree of offensive fragrance... makes you wonder. Wish they would bring back the seasonal mint instead!
