Q: Does the cassette snap in to the mounting brackets? I need to install brackets behind cassette, can't use the type with brackets that fasten at edges of shade.

For inside mount, there will be a slight gap on either side of the shade due to ensuring the proper function in retraction and extension. Good quality and construction. Does not block much light

Installed a month ago and very happy with ease of installation and quality of blind. Nice heavy material and weighted bar at the bottom. NO OFFGASSING. That was a concern for me. Negatives: this does not block as much light as I expected. In fact it lets in a lot. I thought 1% meant 1% transmission but this is much more. Couldn't tell until it was installed and we decided just to keep it. The blind also has a horizontal line across part of it. Its in the bedroom and no one will see it so I don't really care, but I mention it for others to be aware of. Overall though, very happy with the quality and value of this blind.

Great product affordable price

Purchased the charcoal color but wish they had a lite gray with the cassette. Was delivered earlier than expected, well packaged and NO missing parts. The quality was just as good as Bali or Levolor. Would purchase again. Good product and saved at least 75% purchasing Linen Avenue.

Easy to install, but not fully blackout

Installation was no more than 15 minutes in total. Does not filter out all light. A decent amount still gets through, even when the sun is not directly shining on the window (pictured above). It does block out most light to where you would need a flashlight to navigate the room if your eyes aren't adjusted, but still, I expect blackout to mean blackout.

Easy to instal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This roller shade was very easy to install with minimal help from my husband which says a lot about the ease. We mounted it inside the window frame so it would block out a little more light. It blocks enough to light to make the room cooler and block the glare that normally shines on my TV but it doesn't make the room too dark.

Works with Texas heat

easy install and great quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These roller shade are very durable and made from polyester. I find that they are very easy to clean. I like that you can order custom sizes for those unique size windows. Linen Avenue roller shades are easy to install and use. I love the privacy it gives me in my kitchen and bedroom. I put mine by my couch to prevent sun damage. So far it is working out very well. I also enjoy keeping out the light when I want to sleep in. Only down side is not water resistant. So I keep my kids away from them when playing with any water toys.

Easy to install!

blocks out...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shade is something you will not regret getting! This has become such a great 'investment.' It is so easy to use simply pull up or down for sun or shade! One reason I love this shade so much is because it's so much better with having a cat! I don't have to worry about another piece getting broken etc. I also love that it blocks out the light so well! I was a bit worried because of it being on the lighter side but it really made no difference! It was also so easy to assemble (hang)!

Really nice!
