    Poor design

    Poor design - screws poke through step. Instructions tell you to use the longer screw and they poke through. Also the top railings have threaded inserts that come loose during assembly

    Mislabeled instructions led to split wood

    Although the instructions say to read through each step carefully, there are no words to read through. It’s pictures with inaccurate labels. There are short screws, for the love of god, use them!!! I followed the pictures and split the wood in 3 spots, all where my toddlers will be stepping! Overall sturdy once built, but now I need to go through an added step to find something to cover the splits in the footboards so my kids don’t get hurt.

    Glad I got it on sale. Instructions are difficult

    Glad to have gotten this on sale for a third of the typical price cause this thing really isn't worth full price. The instructions are just pictures in a 6 step diagram but it's more like 30 steps. Items are mislabeled in the instructions so we almost put the wrong pieces in spots. The image doesn't show you where to use the shorter a2 screws... only to find out you really need 4 of them to place the lower step yo not pop thru the wood. Despite carefully tightening everything slowly as we went around there is a wobble due to the top step board being a tad bit warped. Feels sturdy enough to hold our toddler although the space to climb up and in under the bar is a tight squeeze for him
