Design flaws
It’s a cute design and looks fun in theory - not sure how it has a misleading 4 stars after reading the 1 star reviews. There is not enough room for the dispenser to put enough playdoh in any of the cups. Kids want their creations to look like the box and it’s not even possible. The amount of force you need to get the cup off the base is insane, I thought I would break it. Do not recommend.

Does not work
Who tested this with kids? I can’t even get the playdoh out of the coffee handle. This is absolutely poor design, the disc to push down the playdoh is so small the playdoh does not push through.

We have some troubleshooting tips that can help resolve the issue. We recommend using an amount of 2oz of the Play-Doh compound. Next, please roll the compound into a long tube and place it inside the tube included in the playset. When using the plunger, please ensure that both levels of the plunger are being inserted in the tube, not just the bottom ring, but that the second ring is inserted also. Flimsy materials
The materials are so light and flimsy. Trying to push the playdoh thru and hold the unit stable at the same time is difficult for a child. The construction of playdoh kits has really gone down making it difficult for children to play with. Disappointed.

Would not recommend unless you are an adult wanting to play woth Play Doh
This is a super cute toy and would be amazing if it did not break after using it for the first time. Like others have said the amount of pressure you have to use for one side is not usable for young kids and is even difficult for an adult. The right side did not even work as the plastic piece is loose with a spring to make the holder move down when playdoh is pushed it. This makes the plastic holder hit the bottom so the play doh does not even come through. It’s a great concept but needs to be tweaked due to faulty pieces and amount of strength needed to operate the machine. I would buy again IF they could fixed the above concerns.

Poor design. Get something else
This you only gets points with me for the molds. The design itself is horrible. If you apply the pressure it takes to use the dispensers, you’re going to break the toy. It bends to such a point that I can tell it’s about snap.

I am disappointed with this product
The push down parts for the ice cream dispenser are too hard to push down for my 5 year old. I could hardly do it as an adult. The molds are fun. The cappuccino looking cup and dispenser were poorly designed in my opinion.

Too complicated for kids
Nearly impossible to play as directed. Everything has to be just perfectly lined up with the right amount of playdoh to work with the machine. I could barely do it as an adult. The accessories are cute, but the little cups have holes in the bottom so if you leave some playdoh in them it dries out. Overall not happy with my purchase.

Bring back the old quality and quanity
Shame on Playdoh for shrinkflation! My kids don’t play together much due to their age gap but love creating food with the play doh sets for the last two years. This is their third set for Christmas and Hasbro ruined it. No photo cards how to create the pictured items, smaller and fewer containers of dough. We had to find old sets to make sprinkles and have enough dough and tools to play.
