Professor Puzzle USA, Inc. Escape from the Mall Escape Room Game

The puzzles are a little more difficult than other escape room games I’ve tried (logic puzzle, sudoku, tangrams, and a word puzzle). Game play took less than an hour. And the directions could be a little more informative. But overall it was a well designed game.

My friends and I really enjoy escape rooms and board games. We've done a bunch of real escape rooms and more than 20 escape game, but we couldn't finish this. The biggest problem is that one of the puzzles requires you to have knowledge of 80's pop culture that you can't acquire from the game itself. The game is broken up into sections in the mall, and you need an answer from every section to finish the game. As 20 somethings we couldn't finish one of the sections because we don't know anything about the 80's, and thus couldn't escape. I would pass on everything from this brand. We have done another from them and accidentally skipped over half of the puzzles because the starting materials seem to point to and gave enough information to open what should have been like the fifth envelope. We only figured out something went wrong once we finished the game and had half of the envelopes unopened.
