This could have been so much better than it was
I really wanted to like this but Such A Quiet Place didn’t pull me in at all. I found myself skimming over some parts that felt repetitive and I never became fully invested in any of the characters. This story takes place over eleven days + a flash forward to the next month at the end, yet the plot felt thin. I thought that was disappointing because the initial concept intrigued me and made me pick up this book. The only redeeming quality this had, in my opinion, was the exploration into suburban neighborhood communities and how they can feel like a miniature police state. I wish that had been more emphasized, instead of repeating and elaborating on the same clues over and over through multiple chapters without much new information. Reading this felt like a bit of a chore to me as a result. It’s possible I’m just picky when it comes to thrillers/mysteries so don’t take my word for it. Maybe this is the book for you. Either way, there were very few moments that excited me, and those moments were short-lived. The reveal towards the end felt uninspired and disappointing. Two stars instead of one mainly for the overarching toxic suburbia theme.

Not amazing not horrible
It was an ok book I give it 3/5. It was easy to follow, but I didn’t really get interested into the book until I was 3/4 done and it was very slow at the beginning.
