This replaced a larger, much more expensive one bought 20 years ago from a now defunct garden store. I like this one better as it has a more useful shelf configuration and so can store a much as my old one despite being smaller overall. The metal table top is the best. My old one was wood so soil got stuck in the grooves and both soul and water ended up dripping onto the stuff on the lower shelves. With this one the very accessible shelves stay clean.Looks attractive against the wall in our shady spot. I am very happy with it and it's good value for the price.

This was SO easy to put together, even though the instructions were a teensy bit vague. The legs and shelves are sort of preassembled, so it was more a matter of setting it up than building it. It fits perfectly in the space, seems to be fairly sturdy for the price. There were a couple of boards that had splintered edges, but not enough to make it unusable. Can't wait to put it to work!

Really good product. Super easy to put together, I was impressed with the engineering of the product. Part of the arm of the bench was damaged but an easy fix with some wood glue.

This bench is great for potting my plants. My husband drilled three holes in the back, so the water would drain that way instead of out on me when I watered the pots. He also caulked around the edge where the metal meets the wood in an effort to make it last as long as possible.

I chose to assemble it without the shelf across the top to reduce its visual space. It looks really good and is very functional. The only negative about it is the odd smell that dissipates over time. Would recommend for outside only use for the first few months.

Pretty great all around. Easy & relatively quick to set up - only 20 screws & bolts total (plus 2 tiny screws for the optional set of hooks on the side) - about a 30 min job. The only down side is, when attaching the 2 narrow horizontal back panels to the rear legs, there are no pre-drilled holes in the legs, so you have to use the provided wood screws to screw the panels in, which is fine, but doing that without pre-drilling the holes increases the risk that the very brittle, cheap wood (prolly pine) will split & crack as some of the other pics have shown. Finally, mine came with some rust on the aluminum panel (see pic), but i don't see that as a big deal.

Nice product- meets my needs as a prep station for grilling. Wood is thin and a bit splintery- I did give two coats of polyurethane to bench before assembly.. Bench has been out since April- so far so good!
