Lasting power?
Lasting power is a problem. When using a 20V 2H battery the saw runs out of power within 2 minutes A 20V 4H battery is a must. Makes saw heavier but it’s worth it.

Beware “Tool only”
When it says “tool only” they mean tool only. The box contained the saw and a blade. That’s it. Not even a wrench to for blade installation and removal

Big problem
I assembled the blade onto the saw as the extremely limited instructions showed. When I tried to run it the blade hit the blade guard and stopped. Cannot get it to run correctly. Do not buy this flawed item.

Very disappointed
I purchased this Worx 20v 7 1/4” cordless circular saw to replace my old corded saw and was excited about being able to use it without dragging an extension cord around. It’s a 6 lb paperweight now. My first cuts were on 4x4 green treated posts. The saw bound up almost immediately. If I backed it up and allowed to blade to spin again I could inch forward with my cuts until I got through the post. Next I tried cross cutting dry cedar deck boards and figured it would go through those like a hot knife through butter. Unfortunately, I got the same result. My battery was completely charged overnight and these were cuts made with the new blade WORX provided. It would probably be ok for very light trim or moulding work on softwoods but i wouldn’t even consider it for any project beyond that. A shame because I was expecting more.

Hello There! Thank you for sharing your experience and review! We greatly appreciate your honest feedback as it gives us a better understanding of where we need to improve. The post you are cutting may be too much for the tool and over powers it. This would cause the motor to stop and the blade to stop spinning so it can protect the internal parts from burning up, the max cutting depth at 45 degrees will be 1-13/16" (46mm) and at 90 degrees it would be 2-9/16in (65mm). However, If you would like to provide us with additional feedback regarding your tool, please feel free to email us at worx-reviews@positecgroup.com and we’ll be glad to assist you. Thank you for choosing WORX tools!

Junk
Everytime you go to cut the blad stops. Move two inches blade stops. Fully charged battery new saw blade...does the same thing. Would never recommend this to anyone.

(no review title)
I've used worx for years always been very happy with the quality from drills weed eaters hedge trimmer jig saw. This saw cuts straight but very under powered new fully charged battery won't make a 60" cut on a 3/4" plywood without changing the battery. Cuts straight have to go extremely slow or bogs down. Better have a dozen batteries to make it usable

Perfect tool for my projects
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love to be able to grab the saw and take it to where I need to use it instead of taking the wood to where the saw is. So convenient and easy to use..

Powerful & Smooth
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The saw has plenty of power to cut through hardwoods without bogging down at all. I expect to get plenty of use out of this bad boy.

Worx Great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this to work on smaller projects and for areas where I couldn't get power. But it has proven its worth over and over for larger projects. The unit has a good solid feel to it and tracks well. Powering through wood isn't a problem. Its really night taking it up on a roof to do work and not having to deal with a power cord trying to pull a saw off the roof or tripping over a cord and falling. I am a homeowner and do so many and varied projects around the property and this fit my needs very well.

Great Saw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this saw to replace a corded model that I had for years. I knew going in that this cordless model would not be able to replace a corded model across the board. With that said, this unit performs about as well as I anticipated. It does not have the power of the corded model, but if you take your time using it, it performs very well. I cut a pile of scrap wood to throw out and I was able to go through the entire pile with one battery charging. You can not force the saw or it will stall. Knowing its limitations is the key to using this saw. Also, installing a good quality carbide-tipped blade helped a lot.

Great Tool!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a customer of Worx for about 5 years now. The quality level of this line of tools is supprising. The power of the brushless motors and the overall balance of each item is quite amazing. I own several of their tools and for a home owner, they are more than needed for the average user. The saw will run on a 2ah battery but, it performs much better on the 4ah battery.

Just as good as the "Yellow & Black"!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Saw is great. Cut as good as corded, just don't force it, let the blade do the work. Good bye cord!

Much better than expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this saw with the expectation it would be a typical, under-powered cordless saw, good for only light applications. To my surprise, it cuts very well for all my needs, using a standard 7 1/4" blade. It works so well, my corded saws are now collecting dust. You can stop the blade from spinning if you force the saw through the material, but there is no need to do that with a sharp blade. As a bonus, the saw even has a break. The documentation does not explicitly say there is an Allan key included, to loosen the blade. I was disappointed about that at first, until I discovered it neatly tucked away in the saw. I just didn't see it.

Great first impressions!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I only used this saw a few times, I am very pleased with how it performs, the weight, and the balance. It is very ergonomic and didn't bog down while cutting some 2X8 lumber (new blade of course too). I was great not having to deal with a power cord and extension!!

Good Saw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had this tool for about a week. Overall so far, it seems to be what I wanted in a circular saw. I installed the blade that came with the saw and cut a couple of 2 x 4's and decided to swap it out for a different blade with 60 teeth. The saw then cut the way I thought it should. With the blade that came with the saw, It did stop several times as I tried to cut a 2 x 4. I also thought that a rip fence should have been included for the price.
