    Up to 38 mile range. Maybe. I just wanted to try 1 mile through the woods. No go. You need a cleared line of sight for distance. They probably work great at a carnival event. I will hold on to them for extreme emergency.

    Love them so far.

    Got a set for my son and I to use around our acreage which is out in the middle of nowhere. Have only used the basic talk mode and haven’t really explored all the features yet which is why I only gave it 4 stars. Only complaint is the talk button is a little flimsy feeling and seems like it won’t hold up well. Good range and clarity.
