  • A: Thank you for reaching out. I want to assure you that we do not add any artificial sugars or sweeteners to our teas. We only use a small amount of cane sugar to help preserve the dried fruit pieces, which is why it appears in the ingredient list. This minimal amount does not significantly affect the sugar content, you can estimate about 5–10 calories, 1 gram of carbohydrates, and 1 gram of sugar per serving. Hibiscus Flower does not contain any cane sugar.     I love Hibiscus tea. It has a nice tartness to it. If I have a tea that tastes a little “dull”, I just add a little Hibiscus to it and the flavor just pops!

    To me it has a very deep, almost tangy flavor to it. Since I purchased it and tried to find more it has been out of stock. I am waiting so I can purchase it again. No matter what tea you mix it with, the tea will be very red and you would be able to tell the tea has hibiscus to it. The quality and color it brings to any tea is unmatched.

    Best herbal Iced Tea

    I love using the Hibiscus with my Blueberry Wild child tea. The hibiscus is a little tangy and adds a citrusy like burst. I put a hint of Monk fruit sweetener to it. It is the perfect zero calorie drink when I am tired of drinking plain water.

    Since we are from an area that gets snow and has freezing temperatures we had it hot. It was very nice and is a wonderful color. Not quite as tangy as Fireberry, which is one of our favourites but still very enjoyable.

    Very nice! I love that I can add a little amount to other teas for that delicious hibiscus flavor, or just drink it straight! I like making an iced tea with the flowers and some other tea, with the hibiscus as a coloring and flavoring in one :)

    I have tried hibiscus tea from other companies, this by far is the BEST! I am glad I got the 16 oz bag. And for the price it can’t be beat. Other companies charge much more for much less. If you are on the fence, don’t be. You will not be disappointed. - I have not been this excited about tea for a long time.
