I’ve had this liner for about a month now and hate it. I’ve had several fabric liners and have never had them mold this quickly. It says mildew resistant, but it’s like it came with it ready to grow and impossible to get rid of.

To prevent the spreading of mold spores it is recommended to wash your curtain regularly and create an environment in which it can dry evenly to avoid a breeding ground for mold. Love it overall, need to wash it and see what happens.
Really love the item overall, but it has turned colors at the bottom of the curtain. I always make sure that it’s stretched out afterwards so it can dry as well. I will wash it and see what happens.. maybe the gray one will be better?

I have always used plastic cheap liners and then tossed them when they get mildew. My fiance wanted to try a washable fabric liner and it has been life changing. It doesn’t float up and cling to you in the shower, it’s quiet, it’s WASHABLE.

Mildew and Molds quickly
I bought this shower curtain to "upgrade" from the plastic ones that I've had for years. Target didn't have the one I wanted in stock so I bought this. Within 2 months (shorter timeline for the first mold to appear) the bottom of the shower curtain is disgusting. There is staining from water, mildew, and mold. I didn't think that buying the more expensive shower curtain liner would be more of a health hazard than the cheap plastic liner. I do NOT recommend this and I wish I could return it without it being a complete health hazard.

The first time this became wet with water it revealed brown patches all over (white liner). Unsure of what it is but would conclude quality is not to par?

I agree with other reviewers that this is not the same product that Threshold used to make... It's a shame. I'm willing to pay an inflation-adjusted price but cannot stand the poor quality!!!

Which side faces in?
I’ve had fabric shower curtains that don’t have the plastic liner. They were not as effective. The shower curtain seems to protect and prevent water from splashing outside of the tub. Other reviews have mentioned that it does mildew fast. Yes, I did see some of the pinkish reddish mildew up here pretty quickly. But my big question is, which side faces towards the inside of the tub versus the backside of the shower curtain? I suppose if you’re using this liner by itself the decorative Fabric side faces and plastic side faces. But is that the same case if I’m using it with the shower curtain? Which side of the fabric liner faces the tub versus the backside of the shower curtain that I have placed in front of the liner? Front: 100% recycled polyester; Back: Polyethylene

The polyethylene (smooth) side should face the inside of the bath area. Additionally, both the label and the hem are designed to be positioned on the inside of the tub.
