Great value when learning something new! Michaels sells skeins of this yarn for $14 each. This kit comes with 6 or 7 skeins which makes a throw blanket. Highly recommend. I used a video on YouTube to help with a braided edge. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vg3fl4d-UbA

Loved the softness of the yarn. Used Utube video to to get started. Directions hard to understand but enjoyed the process Had to use 2 kits to make desired size. Price affordable I knit with needle but this you can see your project much quicker.

Perfect with some practice
This was my first time ever finger knitting. I tried knitting before but never got to far... But this one I actually finished! This kit is just 6 skeins of yarn and paler instructions. I found the instructions a bit confusing. So I looked up a fee youtube videos to get a better idea. I did make a cream blanket too. Once you figure out hhow to make it, it's fairly easy. However, if you are picky or a first timer like me, you might have to unravel it a few times and try again. The first time I made a decent portion I made the loops too tight. Then I made them too loose for my liking... So it took me a few tries to get a good feel for how tight to make the loops for the look I wanted. But after even thought I had to unravel a few times, I had fun and at the end I got a blanket that looks like how I envisioned :). Depending on how tight you make your loops, your blankey end up bigger or smaller. I find that 7 or 8 skeins of yarn was best for the size I wanted so I bought two kits. Once you get the hang of it you can definitely finishe the blanket within a few hours or a day. I recommend you make it on a flat surface with ample space. It'll make it was easier to make. I hope they keep this product year round. It's very warm and soft. I want to make more! I hope it washes well though... I haven't gotten to that part yet.

Perfect for hand knitting beginners!
While this is a super simple kit consisting of yarn and single page instructions, the kit concept gave me the rookie confidence I needed to get started. I knew I would have the right amount and type of yarn for my project to be successful. I've watched plenty of videos so didn't rely heavily on the instructions, except to finish the blanket. By the time you finish this blanket, you'll have the familiarity and confidence to move onto multiple colors, different stitches and have an idea what you will look for in yarn on future projects. I love how mine turned out, even moreso than the pic on the box!

I absolutely love this blanket. This was so fun to make , and the kit comes with so much! The instructions were a little difficult but the pictures did help. The yarn is super soft and the fact it is machine washable ( on delicate) helps as well. It was honestly really fun to make and relaxing (more than I thought it would be). If they had other colors… I’d be buying this again.

Eh good practice
I bought glitter chenille yarn last year to make a queen size blanket and kept failing. I saw this and thoguht it would be good practice at the craft party I was invited to. Realized you need to do this one flat table. After that it took me a few hours after starting over. I felt accomplished when I finished but the holes are much larger than the picture. I'm going to unravel it and try again. The instructions for confusing for a newbie, but I feel more confident to tackle my original project.

fun blanket kit
for a novice knitter, this was fun and simple. the chenille yarn was soft and easy to work with (much easier to follow than the other knitting crafts that use needles IMO). if you’re thinking about it, just give it a try!

This was so relaxing. When I saw it at Target, I was not sure how it was going to go. The instructions were great and the quality of yarn was so soft. It took me a couple hours and the end result was great! It’s larger than I expected and the weight of the blanket makes you feel super cozy.

There's a lot of strings you have to cut off and the instructions aren't great. (YouTube) BTW This "kit" is literally 6 skeins of yarn and the paper instructions. Just YouTube the instructions and buy yarn separately to be more cost effective.
