Q: What is the very strong odor they give off/leach into air emanating from? What is the actual component that is giving off a chemical odor?

A: Hi AlwaysLookUp! Our Storage products are made of Polypropylene plastic. Polypropylene sometimes has a plastic smell (especially the clear products) when first purchased that dissipates fairly rapidly once the product is unpacked and put to use. Washing with a lemon scented or grease fighting detergent and rinsing thoroughly helps dispel any noticeable odor. Detergents sometimes adhere to plastics and you will want to wipe and rinse well. Air or towel dry.

At first, I thought they were too long, but these bins have been perfect. Im using one to hold diapers on my desk (turned changing table). I use 2 other bins for pumping supplies and one to hold dirty bottles/pump bottles, etc, near the sink. I had 1 left over and it's holding some miscellaneous items in my bathroom. Definitely considering getting more of these bins as they are slim but hold a lot.

These are great for under the sink for cleaning supplies. They nicely hold several spray bottles of cleaners. It’s also great for small spaces in closets because the basket is narrow but has taller sides so they hold a lot. It’s also a very sturdy plastic, not flimsy. It’s a good price too! This is one of my favorite organizing baskets.
