Has 2 forms of sugar substitute even though it’s not the diet one, so naturally it tastes horrible.

Doesn't have original flavor
I bought mountain dew, Dr. Pete, and root beer flavor and they all taste bad to me. Nothing like the original flavors. They have a weird after taste, almost like a diet soda. I couldn't drink any of them. I didn't even bother to taste the root beer because the first 2 I tasted were gross to me.

It was just okay. Not something I would drink as an alternative to actual Mountain Dew. Every flavor seems to have a strange aftertaste, but this was the better one of the three I’ve tried.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually enjoy sodas I make with my soda stream such as Pepsi and Coca Cola, but I don’t think this Mountain Dew tasted like real Mountain Dew I tasted both the soda stream version and the real one per usual and it tasted extremely artificial and didn’t even taste like the real thing. I was super excited to receive this as I usually enjoy the sodas with the soda stream because they taste extremely similar to the real thing but this was a disappointing fail.

Ok this gets the job done. I think Pepsi tastes more like Pepsi if that makes sense. This MTN Dew is good and will get the job done when you craving the dew however it almost has a diet or off brand taste to it which isn’t a dealbreaker or anything for me. I will say soda streams brand version of the mtn dew is better imo.

Tastes weird now that they started putting artificial sweeteners in newer batches.
I knew they tasted strange lately. For some reason they add two artificial sweeteners. I get that they want to lower the amount of sugar, but we buy the non-sugar free version for taste and now it tastes weird. There is already a diet version, keep the artificial sweeteners in the diet drinks.
