Horrible instructions

This is now day two of trying to put this together and I\'m still trying to figure it out. The instructions do not label the small and long pieces so you don\'t know where to put any of them. Im zooming in on the pictures so i can see how to properly put it together and I\'ve been trying to find a video of how to put it together and there is nothing. I know my son would love this gift he got but it looks like we will never be able to put it together. And one of the attachments for the backboard is missing only one came in the box so if I do figure it out I\'m going to have to figure out how to attach the other side of the backboard.
