Sam's Pets Ivy 20'' Dog Bed in Brown

This item arrived quicker than Target estimated. Overall, it's really cute and appears well made. The 20" sized bed seems to work well for my 11lb miniature dachshund as he likes to curl up like a croissant in round beds. The quality feels right for the price. Something of note that I don't see anywhere in the description is that this item is 2 separate pieces. There's no where to secure the 2 pieces together. The braided edge simply sits on the floor enveloping the bottom cushion. It stays together decently well as the braid is pretty weighty and well-made. But if your dog isn't precious with its belongings, the bed easily comes apart. My dog likes to root around before laying down, so while it might work if he's really tired, I'll probably be constantly correcting it after he's been feeling spunky. I think I'm going to tack the bottom cushion to the braided edge with some thread. I dinged this item a whole star because the microfiber fabric pictured doesn't match the actual item at all. It's a more milk chocolate brown than the dark chocolate brown shown.
