Excellent TV, great brightness great contrast and if something comes very close to OLED like display it has to be this TV. The speakers are good and the TV can be used without any soundbar, I have the HW Q990D, and Samsung Music Frame so Q-Symphony with this TV just takes the audio experience to the next level. The OS is fast, takes some time to learn as some options get enabled only when something else is disabled, like picture mode will be enabled only when intelligent mode is disabled. This is slightly on the heavier side and the center stand makes the 85in screen wobble at the top, this is my only problem with this TV but apart from that super happy with my purchase.

Even at this size, the image is razor sharp, and motion is smooth whether I’m watching sports, movies, or gaming. Setup was straightforward but make no mistake — this is a massive TV. Make sure you have the right space and a strong wall mount or console to support its weight and dimensions. Once it's up, though, it’s the ultimate centerpiece. Streaming is fast and seamless thanks to Samsung’s Tizen interface, and I had no trouble connecting my devices. Everything just works smoothly. If you're looking for a TV that delivers true wow factor without stepping into projector territory, the QN90D 98" is worth every penny. The colors are vibrant without looking artificial, and the blacks are deep and true, giving it an almost OLED feel but with higher brightness. Gaming on this TV is a whole new level of immersive. The low input lag and smooth motion make fast-paced games feel seamless, and the 120Hz refresh rate keeps everything buttery smooth. Sound quality surprised me too—clear, full, and powerful enough that I don’t always need my soundbar. The Smart TV features are fast and intuitive, making it easy to jump between streaming, cable, and apps. Overall, this TV has become the centerpiece of my home. It’s perfect for movie nights, sports weekends, and everything in between. Samsung really nailed it with the QN90D.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is actually a very good TV, but I have to be honest, and unfortunately, artificial intelligence doesn't interpret the image from each of the streaming services well.What I mean is that if, for example, I'm watching content on Netflix and the image doesn't look good, I go to settings and make the necessary adjustments so that it looks good. But once I switched to another streaming service, then the image looks different I have to go to settings and tweak again until I get a good image And it shouldn't be like this, this is where Samsung should work its magic, the less the user has to intervene in the settings the better. Many people want a good image in everything they watch but don't know how to adjust the settings. And we can say that the problem is the source, that is, the streaming service, which can't agree on having a standard, but it will never happen. I repeat, this is where Samsung needs to work its magic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sometimes am on "overload" with the quantity of features and perks that come with this TV. I like the "Recent features", as I can just click there if I want to go back to what I was watching earlier. The only negative, and this has nothing to do with the tv itself, but all the channels want to peg you into the same hole. I was recently annoyed because I found that after a certain amount of time, the tv would shut itself off, and I would have to turn it on again. I found the "Timer" setting and changed it to when I wanted the tv to turn off, but you should really have that info available when the Geek Squad sets up the devices for clients. Another quirk is the sleep timer. I cannot seem to set it the time I want. I go into Settings, click over to where I want it, but it always defaults to "180 minutes". That's ok because it's at night, but still, I would like to control that feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old Samsung TV died after years of use. It was only a 65". We chose to upgrade to the 85" and it is GREAT to see. The picture is clear and crisp, and the sound is just right for us. It has been easy to set up, very similar to the last set. The remote is solar powered, so we have to remember to move it to a room with a window periodically because our TV room has no windows but that is way better then buying new batteries all the time. A new feature that our old set didn't have is the recent watched on the home screen. That makes it so easy to pick up where we left off when we watched prior, rather then signing into whichever app we were using at the last watch.

Last tv was 15 years old, smart tvs have advanced a lot since then. The detecting active inputs or auto on my game system took some getting used to. Still learning new things I haven't had with my "dumb" tv.
