    Solid stand support

    I initially had my center channel vertical standing on the floor angled upward toward the back of my theater but found that raising it higher and turning it horizonally, I got better results with voice clarity.

    Monolith by Monoprice 24in Steel Speaker Stand

    Exactly what I was looking for. Big, Heavy, and Sturdy for my large Klipsch bookshelf speakers (which are very heavy). The 24" height is perfect (and actually hard to find). Price is very competitive. I did not use any of the included hardware such as the carpet spikes. I did place 4 dark brown self adhesive felt pads on the bottom of the bases, for the wood floor which they will live on. I also placed thin self adhesive non-skid pads between the speakers and the stands. Everything seems very sturdy. They were packed very well, shipping time was normal. Easy to assemble. Thank you MonoPrice!

    Great monitor stands

    I bought these to hold my Dutch & Dutch 8c monitors which weigh 50lbs each. Assembly was easy and I'm happy with the purchase. However, I'd suggest manufacturing a larger base , especially for the 32" model. The speakers are secure but having a larger, square base would help greatly. They're solid along the long base side but a bit wobbly along the short side. Remember, these are 50 lb speakers...

    Secure mounting Technique

    I bolted my Revel Performa M105 and my B&W CM1 speakers to the stands: 1) Cut a piece of cardboard to match the top plate of the Monoprice speaker stands 2) Screw the carpet spikes into the bottom of one of the speakers 3) Push the piece of cardboard down onto the carpet spikes 4) Carefully remove the cardboard from the spikes 5) Place the cardboard on top of the Monoprice top plate and mark the position of the holes with a good sharp pencil 6) Drill the holes a little larger than the speaker bolts

    Solid Stands, Look Great!

    Love the stands, very stable and heavy. Before I purchased them, I read many owners filled them with sand. So before I received the stands I picked up a bag a sand. Once I assembled them and seen each post top and bottom, they are partially covered with a piece of steel so the bolt would screw into it. So I can't imagine anyone "FILLING" them with sand. My guess it would be extremely messy. Given the solid weight of the stand I don't see Any Need to fill them with sand. For the money you just can't beat the quality of this stand. Highly recommend! (without the Sand!)

    Low cost stand

    I have two Seas Dynaco A26 speakers on these sands. Filled with sand. Solid. Floor spikes go thru my carpet very well. Decent for the price. NOT MADE IN CHINA!

    Perfect height to get my heavy monitor speakers up to ear level and the relatively large top plate was the perfect size. Very sturdy welding and made in TAIWAN, not China. When assembling, a tap on the support tubes will give one a nice ringing sound, so I took the recommendation to fill the tubes with sand. That cured the ringing and added heft to the stands. Took about a third of a 50# sack of "Playsand" to fill them. Highly recommended as it's completely dry and very fine grain.

    Works great easy to assemble

    I have a fairly large center channel. Polk csi a6. I used this and used some screws to attach it. I think it works and looks great. Before I had just handmade a shelf, but this looks like it was meant to be.
