Don’t order a tv from target. We have had the most horrible interaction with customer service. It is as if they dont care at all. My wife and I purchased this TV about two months ago. When it arrived at our house the box was so damaged that you could literally see the TV. So they arranged for someone to pick it up and send us a new one. Then we had to wait and wait and wait and wait. Every week or so my wife would call to enquire, and they would say they still have not verified that it was picked up by there delivery team... it took about 6 weeks of this till finally they sent us a new one. For our trouble they offer a $5 store credit. The new one comes in the box looks miss handled a bit but not smashed and ripped open like the first time. (This is a flat screen tv, the box show look perfect, no further explanation needed) Reluctant to go through this process again. We open the box and everything seems ok. We install the mounting hardware and hang the TV on the wall. As I begin to put the trim peices that just magnetically attach, I notice that the screen is curved l. I thought maybe the it was supposed to be curved. Turns out the TV is bent! The metal frame around the TV is bent and miss shaped. The TV turns on just fine but my worry is that the electrical components may have been disturbed... how long it will last I dont know? Based on the other reviews I am very concerned. Contacted tcl they said its damage and targets responsibility. My issue is unresolved and If you dont want to have a horrible experience like this my advice is to shop somewhere else!

I now have a second model where the update has corrupted, and instead of being provided with a downloadable firmware file (which usually happens with other companies) I have been asked for repeated photos of the issue, when the issue is that the update corrupted, I cannot restore the TV to factory settings and I have no way of updating it. Im really disappointed that such a simple fix has taken over 2 weeks to get any support on, and now I will likely return the tv and exchange for another brand, which im really disappointed about

The picture quality is great for both shows/movies and the frame/art setting - if the screen weren’t so bright in my darker living room, it would really look like a painting! The matte screen is great at preventing glare. The tv is facing a large window in my living room and I haven’t had any issues with being able to view the screen. The setup was a little tricky - beware you have to still at least 6 holes to securely mount the tv. I have been an amazon fire stick loyalist but the functionality of the google tv is amazing!! Lastly, the frame is magnetic so it will be nice to be able to switch it out in the future if my design aesthetic changes. It came with a standard light wood looking frame that will suffice for now.

The picture quality is INSANE, when not using this as a TV we keep the museum artwork displayed as well art. When I say that this looks like a real painted picture on the wall that is back lit, this is the honest truth. Every brush stroke in the painting looks like it extends. Additionally, since there is no glare in the TV screen, we are able to stand in front of the TV at any angle and see it perfectly. I am truly amazed.  This TV sits flush against the wall so it looks very sleek. Installation was a breeze as the tv came with a paper guide if where to out the screws in the wall and the TV mount were two hooks that slide in. This is me reaching, bur the inly downfall, and I mean ONLY is that we are not able to hide the TV chord behind the TV because it is is so flush. I love love love the quality if this TV and my home has been transformed into an art gallat when it is not being used for movies. 1 million out of 10 recommend!!!!

The frame comes white and has a tan wood-like frame to snap on the border. The “art mode” feature is very cool with so many options. The tv comes with a wall mount but does NOT come with a stand. I have seen many people use art easels as a stand with these TVs and I plan to do the same soon! The google tv set up is similar to apple tv and TCL roku tv, so it’s easy to learn. The google version has more useful features than others I’ve tried! There is continue watching on the home screen that covers what you’re watching in ALL apps you’re logged into.

Of course the best way to test it is to watch Lord of the Rings in full HD 4K quality, boy oh boy was it beautiful!! The voice control feature is a highlight, allowing me to search for shows, adjust settings, and control smart home devices effortlessly. Additionally, the flush wall mount design adds a sleek, modern touch to my living space, eliminating bulky brackets and giving the TV a streamlined appearance. Overall, the TCL 65A300W has exceeded my expectations in every way, delivering both top-notch performance and a sophisticated design that complements my home décor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV feels like a major upgrade and a step into the future. I really like how many settings there are and are adjustable; you can save your settings in each picture mode and freely switch between them (including turning down the brightness and choosing whether you want auto-brightness turned on). I typically keep the TV in low power (energy saving) mode, but occasionally switch to different ones for movies or video games. The matte finish on the screen gives the tv kind of a luxurious look when it’s off. My TV is also next to a window, and I definitely think the matte cuts the glare. At first I was unsure about the Art Mode, but I think it’s just my setup. I am not able to use the included flush mount, so I did find an articulating wall mount that fit. Be aware the back of this TV is not like any I have seen, and some “universal” accessories won’t work. If you can flush-mount this TV, I truly think this could look like a big framed piece of art (pro tip though, turn the brightness waaay down to get the artsy feel) This is my first experience with Google TV. I turned it off and put the TV in “app only” mode. Google TV part tailors ads and things you may like, but app mode makes it more like a Roku/Apple TV interface. Google TV does not search or perform actions within most apps, so I don’t feel like im missing out with it off. There was also brief lag sometimes with Google TV turned on, but I haven’t experienced that since turning it off. Overall, great things to say about the quality of this TV. it is definitely a step into “smart TV” territory, so if you are upgrading from something more basic like I was, some interfaces may take 2 seconds to get used to. My irks all seem to stem from software UI, which can easily be patched and upgraded in time. This TV is very easy to use, very personalizable, and I am very happy to display this in my home.
