Universal Pictures’ Wicked Ozian Balloons Reveal, Surprise Small Doll

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Glinda for the win! Love these little mini toys! Kids of all ages enjoy and were intrigued to get it open. Love the colors and the design. My daughter was so excited to see she got Galinda in her blind box.

The quality of these balloons is impressive. I have done other reveal toys, but this one is the most value for the cost. My daughter plays with these for hours. We also have never received a duplicate, so I feel like each of the characters is well represented in the total stock.

The Balloon sets are very nice and recommended for the main doll pieces. I have not seen a wizard yet, in any of the other small Wicked sets either the Student nor the Oz set. The balloons are it. I am NOT a fan of the BLIND merchandise! Love the on-line code blogs to tell the code cheats! The only way I would buy this! But it still did take me purchasing on line 25 balloons to get just the 5 unique characters, which IS ridiculous!! Target is usually pretty good about sending sets when ordering on line, but even this set, probably came up short per the supplied manufacturing boxing. I first order 5 and received 3 Glindas and 2 witches (not a fan). Then order 10, think was able to get the wizard (love the cane!) and the prince (love the satchel). Then order 10 more to finally got Morrible! Horrible!! Need more old ladies! Yes, repeats were returned! They know me at the store return counter! 😬 No apologies…Toys are expensive! Debated about keeping the Glinda balloon, movie not out, maybe not even ever used one? Besides the bubble toy is just too cute ($5 more then balloon) gets you the wand and a workable bubble door, pretty cool! I think the wand is very cool feature and needed for play/display. I also like that there is an hanging loop. A blue Glinda does come in the Mattel’s Wicked Oz set too with a cepator. Love that set, the tin man is so cool. Dorthy can actually hold the basket with tote too and stand on her own like she should, so highly recommended that set too. Train seemed expensive, but not for all the craftsmanship and features, plus it is too cool too. Needless to say I started my shopping way early, sure hoping supplies holds up and everyone can find what they are looking for! Enjoy!

The characters are fun to play with, can be used with each other and the other wicked themed products. Any fan of wicked will enjoy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my 8 year old granddaughter saw the blind box she was thrilled. She couldn't wait to see which character was inside and said "YAY!" with a huge smile on her face when she saw Glinda. She said this was the one she wanted to get first. Next, she assembled the hot air balloon with a little help from me to snap the lines into the basket. When the hot air balloon was assembled, she added Glinda and she made the balloon spin using the thumb wheel! She flew it around the room for a while then put it on the top of the toy shelf. "Now", she said "I need to find more of these for my collection." As the days went on she made sure to fly her around in the hot air balloon a few times a day.

It’s hard to collect with a blind box style - you tend to get duplicates but alas that is the process. We loved getting this sweet Wicked toy before we go see the next movie!!!

It is a surprise bix toy so when you get it you won’t know which character you’re getting. But that just adds to the fun! We just gotta collect them all!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Wicked Ozian Balloon was a fun yet simple toy. Our family loves blind bags, so we had fun opening this and learning what character we got. Assembly was simple and my kids were playing with the toy very quickly. We enjoyed that you can spin the character around inside the balloon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is more of a collectors item or display, as there’s not much to the actual toy in terms of interaction. My daughter enjoyed putting it together but now it just sits on her shelf. Reminds me of a bigger happy meal toy.

It is very well built, sturdy, colorful, and detailed. The kids love playing with it and my wife wants to buy one for her collection of Wicked memorabilia.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cute toy. Mystery packages are always fun for kids. The hot air balloon is easy to put together. The doll has moveable shoulder joints, and can move in the balloon by using the gear on the side of the basket. This toy is great for a Wicked fanatic, but it doesn’t hold my child’s interest for long. It needs to be paired with other toys to be fun.

I absolutely love these wicked mystery hot air balloons! They are a little pricey for what they are, but each of the characters do have unique barcodes on the outside of the box so you can kind of figure out who you're gonna get before buying. These also go perfectly with the box set of characters sold separately.
