What’s even better is that this set comes with different compartments to keep all of your beads nicely organized. we got this set to use the clay beads for scrapbook making decor. These little clay beads go on easily with glue and really give a new look to any crafts you may want to do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many beads in my life!! The trays are pretty well set up - there are two trays that fit together. This has 8000 clay beads so you will be able to make endless jewelry. My only complaint is that you really have to work at this - this was hard for me to put together, let alone a kid!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve loved literally every mondo llama item I’ve ever gotten - except this one, which I gave 4 stars instead of the usual 5. Here’s the pros and cons of this set: on a positive note, this set has SO many beads in SO many colors, my first thought was it was such a good deal. Then, we tried making bracelets, and found out that unfortunately the elastic they included in the kit was all curly and would not lay flat to make a proper bracelet or necklace. Also, it was painstaking to add remotely enough of these tiny beads to make an entire bracelet, let alone necklace. We used our own elastic & added some larger filler beads between these beads and it worked out. Just be prepared with those additional items and you’ll be fine! I think these beads will last us until my kids go to college, lol!

I really like the container, and it is double layered with a lid, but the beads still mix a little. All of the colors match well, so anything you make will look great. I would recommend this to anyone who likes making crafts, or have kids that need to be busy. I like to tape one side of the elastic to the table to keep the beads from coming off.

My girls love to make bracelets out of these beads, and we’re thrilled by the color variety in this. I like how they stacked the two layers of beads to make that variety possible. The top tray layer is pretty sturdy, so it shouldn’t spill if you’re being somewhat careful. Only improvement would be to include some gold beads too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bead set is definitely geared for ages at least 6 or older because of how small they are, as well as the tiny hole in the beads. It’s best to have adult supervision and use a needle to string them onto a small piece of string. They’re retro, as an adult I remember having these when I was younger for friendship bracelets. Pluses--great storage container, amazing variety of pastel colors, and none of the beads appear to be damaged (I had mine shipped to me, to truly test how they survive in transit). The box is in two layers, with an easy to lift out top tray, allowing you access to all colors at the same time. Instructions are easy to follow. Minuses? Some beads migrated to other areas of the tray. I mention that because the same kids who may have the patience to work with these beads may also be upset about that. Also, you will need more string/cord, the enclosed amount won't go very far. 8,000 beads sounds like a lot, but I attached a photo for scale--that's 10 beads next to a crayola. That's par for the course for clay beads, not a plus or minus. They are just tiny! The box says ages 6+, but unless you know how patient the child is, I would go older on this. Birthday gift for kid in class? Maybe. Present for family/friend kid you know well? Yes. I received an incentive to write this review.

This comes with two layers of all different colored pastel beads. They’re so cute and there is so much variety. I’m getting back into making beaded jewelry and Kandi. I’m excited to craft with them. I feel like this is a good value for $10 also. :)

I was really impressed by how many different colors and the quality of the beads, and that the container has so many different compartments. I was surprised to find that there was a second level of beads making 40 different colors of beads! There was even elastic cord included for making bracelets and necklaces. I love how many color options there are and you can make a very signatured look for everyone you love. You can make different types of strings, long or short. I really like the light pastel colors.
