Super simple install and very spacious and comfortable

This is our second Rove and both seats do the same thing. The seat belt continues to get twisted/flip inside the seat. The only option is to then try to flip the belt clips so that everything is aligned correctly again. This is super frustrating

We are grandparents of a 4-month-old and bought the Rove to use from infant thru to toddler ages, hopefully until he is out of the seat altogether. It's a quality car seat - baby seems comfortable and we feel confident he is safe and secure. Skip the manual and watch a You Tube video instead and you will have it installed in no time!

Super easy to install and fit to my baby! Was delivered to the wrong address, but thankfully the person who received it brought it to us days later.

We tested so many car seats, and the quality of this one truly cannot be matched. Nothing else even came close. My only wish is that it had a 360° swivel feature, but even without it, this seat is absolutely amazing. It feels incredibly secure, well-made, and thoughtfully designed. I genuinely feel so safe putting my baby in it every single day. The comfort, materials, and overall craftsmanship are top tier. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a premium, dependable car seat.

We have two Roves in each of our cars (black and blue). I will say any black car seat absorbs more heat in hotter climates! I really like the blue color I think it stays nice and cool. However, the seatbelt straps are grey and the overall design I can foresee stains! The Rove has a little insert for the metal buckles on either side to keep them cool. The car seat sits a little higher than other brands so little one can look out the window. I think that this car seat is a bit more unrealistic / too much nicer for travel if that’s what you were hoping to use it for. We set it up and it seems more like a stay put everyday car seat. I personally didn’t find it difficult to install this car seat you can find videos on their YouTube channel with easy instruction for methods suitable to your car. Our baby genuinely loves the comfort and space of this car seat. It’s a grow with me car seat so we’re excited about that! It doesn’t have a newborn insert, I believe it starts at about 14 pounds but personally I preferred a different style car seat for newborn (mesa etc), so this was just what we were looking for!

I have the Rove for my daughter who is 20 months old. I care the most about safety and this car seat is incredible. My daughter has been using this car seat for 6 months and it was an easy transition. She is comfortable and it will last. It is a bit bulky for a smaller car - I have the Toyota hybrid highlander and it fits great.

The head rest fits much better and the ability to grow with the seat matches better than our other convertible seat. Installation of the seat quick and the red to green tension indicator made me much more confident that the seat was secure between vehicles. The hooks that attach to the back seat were easier to clip on the backseats.

my 6month old has a super hard time with car seats. we've had 5 different ones. the feel, quality and added safety features of the rove is what sold me on it. i almost bought a nuna rava. but seeing these side by side i had to go with the rove. so far my picky little child loves it!

As a household that requires we move our car seats to other cars for childcare, ease of installation is huge for us, and this product did not disappoint! The Rove is lightweight, easy to manage, and easy to install. The red-to-green indicators ensure that we have a perfect install every time, even for family members who are less experienced. The seat is FAA approved for flying, and we plan to use this seat the next time we travel. We love that this car seat is rear racing up to 50 lbs, as we plan to rear face as long as possible. The sleek design is timeless (we prefer black fabric), and the material is soft and comfortable. Our son seems very comfortable in the seat (falls asleep often, isn't asking to get out of his seat, etc). Easy to clean is also a must for us, and this seat also delivers on that with the fabric being machine washable. We're super thrilled with this seat and plan to use it for years to come as our child grows!

It not only is sleek and perfectly padded, it is also so easy to install and has 5 recline position to make sure your child is absolutely comfortable and even better they are safe with the side impact protection. My son usually doesn't like long car rides but this car seat actually made it to where he didn't mind them! I absolutely loved how it has red-to-green tension indicators make it simple to confirm a secure installation. It made the installation so much faster than your average car seat and it was honestly one of my favorite features and it made it so easy to remove from one car to another if needed! I received the UPPAbaby Car Seat from Steller product Testinf Panel and this is a great car seat! My child immediately falls asleep when she is put into this car seat. The sleek design molds to her body nicely and it does not cause her to over heat. I was able to install the car seat by myself and maneuver it to the correct recline position with ease. The attached cup holder is an added bonus to the car seat and it didn't take away from the design. There are multiple ways to safely secure the car seat to the seat, which is nice because it allows for parental discretion on the install. The red-green indicator allowed for a quick install and helped you establish if you needed to make the seatbelt more or less tight. Although, it was easy to install, the car seat was a little heavy to move from car to car. I would highly recommend this car seat for long and short distance trips.

From the unboxing of the car seat, to installation and comfort- the UPPAbaby Rove is clearly distinguished as a quality product. UPPAbaby includes a detailed paper manual to install the car seat, but what impressed me was the QR codes embedded on each side of the car seat. It was easy to scan and the digital instructions provided walk the user through a seamless, easy to understand installation. There are videos to reference and a final checklist to ensure a proper fit. I can't tell you how many times I've lost a manual, so the QR codes make it easy to have the proper installation instructions— especially when grandparents use/ install the car seat as well. The fabric provides ample padding, is incredibly soft, easy to wipe clean and is durable. There were also zero off gassing smells or any chemical smells. While there is a bit of a learning curve to using the spring-loaded lock-off doors that secure the seatbelt, as soon as you watch the installation video it makes complete sense. It's incredibly easy to get a secure fit and the tension indicator provides a red-to-green visual confirmation for complete peace of mind—truly foolproof. With all of these unique safety measures (spring-loaded lock-off doors and tension indicator) I did find the car seat to be a bit heavier than I initially expected. The seat is by no means bulky, but it is not one I would choose to take for travel. The added safeguards are extremely helpful and worth the included weight. I will just use this car seat in my primary vehicle which doesn't involve a lot of switching. The headrest was easy to adjust with a click of a button. The chest harness was easy to buckle and unbuckle for an adult. It was also easy to make sure the recline was in the correct position thanks to the built in level. Overall, my favorite features of this car seat are the tension indicator and the buttery smooth fabric. The tension indicator has made installation so easy and I never have to second guess myself if the belt is tight enough. The fabric is truly luxurious and my 3 year old could not stop taking about how smooth and nice the fabric felt on his skin. We have used this carseat all around town and several longer trips to the ski hill. We have thoroughly enjoyed it. It has nice safety features, seems comfortable, is lightweight and easy to install. The seat has a very easy to use seat belt tensioner which was my favorite part of the carseat. The tensioner changes from red to green when installed correctly so you're getting visual feedback on that part of the installation. I also liked the zipper seat bottom where the seat belt threads through. It's easier to use than other carseats where you blindly thread the seatbelt through the underside of the carseat. I do wish that the zipper had a fabric garage flap or went further back into the seat so that my kiddo wasn't directly sitting on it, but my son didn't seem to notice it on his bottom. My kiddo seemed very comfortable in the seat and he could see past both sides pretty easily which he liked. I also really liked the no rethread, easy to use harness adjuster, the pockets for the buckles, and the side impact protection. They all made the seat feel easy to use and very safe. The position recliner was pretty simple to use once I got the hang of it and offered a lot of options. The seat was fairly light and easy to carry, but it was taller than I would have liked. It sat up into my line of sight a bit more than I cared for. The base is also a little bigger than on some other seats. While I was able to correctly fit the carseat into the middle seat of my SUV, it was too large to correctly install into the middle seat of an AWD hatchback sedan that I've had other seats properly installed in the middle seat of. We prefer to be able to install in the middle seat, so that was a bit disappointing. I also didn't like the tether when installed rear facing. While the manual does say the tether is optional for rear facing, I prefer to have it installed. I didn't like that it strung alongside the seat where my kiddo played with it and kicked it. Plus if someone parked too close on the driver's side I would've had to unclip the tether to put our son in the seat from the passenger's side and then reclip it. When the seat is forward facing this isn't an issue at all. I do wish that the seat rotated. That would add a huge amount of functionality to this comfy, safe seat. The most tricky thing I noticed about this carseat is the harness strap. I had a hard time getting the harness tightened enough to pass the shoulder strap pinch test. I'm not sure if it's because the seat is new and not broken in enough, the mechanism is just that difficult to pull, or because I'm on the smaller side, but this harness was challenging for me to properly tighten. With that being said, this seat is a good option overall. The safety features are great, the seat seems very comfortable and easy to clean, and it's easy to carry and install in multiple vehicles. Plus it has a nice look to it.

There is not only a recline level indicator, but also a tension indicator that turns green when the belt is tight enough. The instructions are all easy to follow. Overall, the seat itself is nice and feels like it is well made. It's super easy to adjust the height of the seat, there's just a pull lever at the top. This car seat was so much easier to install in my car compared to other car seats that we have used because of the shape. My car is a small hatchback so the more streamlined design allowed me to have more room in the front seat of the car. It was lighter weight and easier to fit in a variety of other vehicles for this reason. I didn't like the way the cup is added on the side of the seat because it takes up unnecessary space on the side but when he is in the car alone it doesn't matter much. The cushioning was very plush and allowed for my child to be very comfortable. This was the most comfortable he doesn't complain when I put him in the car seat and material has been easy to clean when he makes a mess. Compared to other seats my son seems to enjoy being able to look out the window for a better view and he likes the fit in the car better so he isn't begging me to let him out as soon as I strap him in. The head rest fits much better and the ability to grow with the seat matches better than our other convertible seat. Installation of the seat quick and the red to green tension indicator made me much more confident that the seat was secure between vehicles. The hooks that attach to the back seat were easier to clip on the backseats. The seatbelts on this seat are also super easy to adjust and there are side slots that will hold the seat belts open while you put the child in the seat. That was one of my favorite features, especially when you have a younger infant or toddler to put in the seat and I don't have to dig them out from under my child. Overall I'm extremely pleased with this car seat and I'll be looking to get a 2nd one for baby #2 in the future because the functions and comfortability have made our car rides much more peaceful. My only critique was the cup holder but it was a minimal issue for us because he can just hold the cup when he does bring one if we can't use the cup holder.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this car seat. My baby is 18 months old and she seems comfortable in it. The fabric and cushioning felt extremely luxe and felt great, although, it attracts dog hair fairly well. I've used this car seat on 3 different cars (Ford Fiesta, Mach-E, and Tesla) and this was the easiest car seat install that I had to do. It was definitely fit a little too snug on my Ford Fiesta, but it still fits. The tension indicators come in handy when I transferred to a different car so I was at ease that the car seat is secured properly. The zipper to fasten the latch belt was also zipped seamlessly. The only downside to this is the "lightweight" claim. I just went on a 4 hour flight thinking I'd be able to lug it around the airport and use it in the airplane, but no, this car seat is very heavy and big. I ended up having to check it in because it was impossible for me to carry it around the airport while we wait for our flight. You will need a car seat backpack or roller bag to carry this thing around cause it is not light (at least for me) at all. We are going on a 4 hour and 10 hour road trip next week and will test out the 5 recline positions and see how my baby likes it. Overall, a great car seat but definitely not lightweight. (Yes, as a mom of 2, car seats are something I have a deep love and appreciation for). I am currently using this seat for my 4 year old daughter who rides forward facing. Aesthetically, the seat was just beautiful, very sleek with great quality fabrics. I tested it out with my daughter before even installing it and she said it was so comfortable that she wanted one in both cars, she loved it! It has a very comfortable amount of padding and the strap positioning around her hips was perfect. For appearance and comfort it exceeds 5 stars! Now for the installation. The seat is very light making it easy for me to do by myself. The base fit perfect in my small suv and the forward facing installation was just brilliantly easy - there is a small flap you lift for the belt and once everything is locked into place it turns green to let you know you did it correctly! I absolutely love this feature as it gives me such assurance that I installed it correctly and my child is safe. The seat height adjusts easily and the harness tightens effortlessly. I honestly love this seat, it's a high quality that I trust with my children. I found it easier to install than other car seats I have used, and I really just love the green button that appears so you know it's installed tight enough. The harness is smooth and easy to adjust. All of the safety features are just above and beyond. And as an added feature I love that the seat cover zips on and off (instead of all the buttons and clips). This helps it just fit like a glove and makes for easier on and off for cleaning. It also has very few openings for all the toddler crumbs to fall in, also making it easier to clean. This car seat is incredible and truly stands up to the high quality that UppaBaby stands for. I just wish it was available when my kids were 1 year old as this is a seat I would have trusted them to go from infant to big kid.
