PureGuardian 1gal Humidifier H1035: Ultrasonic Cool Mist, Portable, Quiet, Auto Shut-Off, 100-300 sq. ft., No Filter Needed

Piece of garbage. Lasted about 4 months. Wife used a vinegar-soaked paper towel to clean it and 4 days later it won't power on at all.

The unit works fine, once you learn the trick of aligning the floating ultrasonic head unit. The problem is the series of baffling design choices that make it hard to clean, and impossible to keep clean for more than a week! The "Min" and "Max" fill lines are on the back of the tank, clearly meant to be viewed from the front, but they're obscured by the ultrasonic unit. The minimum fill line is nearly 2" from the bottom of the tank, so it can look like the machine has died when it's just out of water. But the main problem is the many, many tiny crevices in the entire unit, which seem to instantaneously harbor mold!! I have a problem with the orange slimy stuff, only once have I seen dark mold. But I have to wash my humidifier once a week with bleach, using cotton swabs to get into the deepest corners, to even remotely keep it under control. BLECH!!! And obviously you can't soak the top of the machine because of the electronics, even though it is not sealed and this is where the worst of the yucky stuff hides!

The part that does the ultrasonic misting floats on top of the water in a tube guide. Clever idea, but it repeatedly snags on the wire powering it or gets misaligned in the tube, so it thinks the tank is empty. Since I've purchased it, I haven't been able to go through an entire tank without having to fix the snag and turn it off and on again. Worst humidifier I've ever used.

First, the product only worked for 10 days. Then, when I tried to return it, for some inexplicable reason, they would only give a merchandise only card. There're was no reason for it. They did not have another one, or one that was for anything but a baby. Receipt was presented. The problem with merchandise only card is you can't use it online. I'm sick—hence, I needed a new humidifier right away. So they don't have another one, I can't get replacement online, and I'm stuck with a stupid card that can only be used in the store, but they don't have it? AND I AM SICK. It's ridiculous...there was no reason for this. The customer service people are the most unhelpful people I have ever encountered. I used to buy 100% of my groceries and everything there, but I cancelled my whole membership because they will not help you when something goes wrong.

Stopped working after one month. Until that happened it was great.

Believe the reviews, this works for like 3 weeks top. Seriously worst product I have purchased in years!

I’ve had this humidifier for a few weeks now and have had almost zero issues. The first day I bought it, I had it running for about 9 hours and the red light that indicates low water level turned on. I looked inside the white cylinder and noticed the water level reader wasn’t floating right. It was a quick and easy fix and have not had a problem since.

I can't get it to run for more than a few minutes without throwing an error. I have had it about a week and it has run all night successfully ONCE. Will be returning.

Broke after 3 uses. No mist is coming out.

It works for one minute then you have to switch it back off and turn it on again. In the photo, the red light is on and I just turned it on a minute ago.

Stopped working after a few weeks and molded in that time despite frequent cleaning.

Like that it’s easy pour to fill and runs quietly.

I had this and returned this in less 3 weeks. I never felt like it worked as every other humidifier I could see the mist. This did sometimes and also made a horrible repetitive sound after being on for over an hour.

Doesnt even blow the humidity out the top-had to do a lot of manual troubleshooting to get air flow to come out the mist top, didnt run for more than a few min. Returning tmrwo.

Terrible. Doesn’t produce any mist at all From the moment we turned it on. Instructions are useless for troubleshooting

It didn’t work after one day. I bought it for my baby but couldn’t tell you if it was worth it. Was easy to return no issues.

Does not mist any longer. Does not work. Only been a couple weeks of owning the machine should not have issues already.

Works great easy to refill through the flap on the top. Very quiet.

I have had this on in a small bedroom for 5 hours and it has not raised the humidity even 1°. I have a humidity thermometer is sitting out. Room has not changed. The cool mist output is absolutely horrible barely anything comes out even when running on high. Purchased this today. Will be returning it tomorrow.
