A: The best guidance is always the care label sewn into the garment, which uses these same dot symbols. The steam function is only effective and safe when the iron is set to the medium (••) or high (•••) heat settings. Do not use steam on the low (•) setting to prevent water from dripping or spitting.

Really nice iron.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The PurSteam iron is very versatile. I really appreciate all of the features that the iron can do. It can complete multiple tasks that I may need, including steaming and ironing. It performs really well and gets the job done quickly. I also like how easy they make it to load water into the iron; with the cup included to poor the water. It looks like it's made of iron and plastic. The only thing I would change is the weight of the iron. I would like a bit of a heavier iron.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just recently got PurSteam 1200W iron and have already used it couple of times. I don't have a full size ironing board, just a small tabletop one, so I needed something compact and easy to use. It heats up quickly, which is great for quick touch ups, and the steam function does its job of removing small wrinkles. It's lightweight, easy to use on a small surface, and the nonstick soleplate glides smoothly over clothes. So far, it's doing its job without any leaks or issues. I also appreciate the automatic shut off feature for safety.

Small, but powerful
This iron was much smaller than expected. Maybe I didn’t read carefully, but it works well and the small size makes it a little easier to use. The steam function is excellent and holds more water than I first thought. Although it is more than I would’ve initially paid for a smaller iron, I’m satisfied. So far so good.

This compact iron is easy to maneuver and I really like the steam feature. It does a nice job on my pants, shirts, etc. Very good value as well.
