To win as Ursula, she must have the Trident and the Crown at Ursula's Lair. Prince John must collect 20 Power and have Robin Hood at The Jail. Captain Hook must defeat Peter Pan at the Jolly Roger. Maleficent must have a Curse at each location in her Realm.

Q: Does the D100 Edition change anything? It looks like the same villians, with different charecter tokens, but only has 4 villians vs the original having 6.

submitted by Alec Y - 2 years ago
  • A: The only difference I can spot, Prince John has an additional condition listed in his objective. Ursula may still start with a locked location. This costs the same as the old one for less stuff.

submitted byJalil - 2 years ago
  • A: there are differences. even looking at the cards in the pictures and in the description you can see no locked locations for ursula, prince John has more in his objective, etc.

submitted byStella - 2 years ago
  • A: There is nothing different about it from Worst Takes It All, other than the fact they are charging you 5.00 less but taking out 2 villains from it. Jafar and the Queen of Hearts are excluded from this

submitted bySenet - 2 years ago

Q: What are the villains?

submitted by Kayla - 2 months ago
  • A: Maleficent, Ursula, Captain Hook, and Prince John They exclude Jafar and Queen of Hearts in this version of the game, but the game pieces in this version are limited edition for Disney 100th Anniversary so do what you want with that info.

Q: Are there going to be more orginal villains for their villainous content being remake?

submitted by Squirt C - 2 years ago
  • A: From what I've been seeing, there are no new villains in this new version, the game is slightly less challenging and the finishes are different for the Disney 100 celebration

It seemed used. The pieces were all scratched up and damaged. The QR code for audio instructions also didn't work. This game needs an update

We fell in love with this game after borrowing it from the library and bought this one assuming it would have the Queen of Hearts (missing from the library copy). However, we didn’t realize that this was the updated “streamlined” version of the original game. Beware - this set is missing Jafar and the Queen of Hearts, as well as several gameplay mechanics (like the lock function) that could make one round stretch for hours. It is still very enjoyable, even with the quicker gameplay. Sadly, I will have to hunt for the two missing villains elsewhere.

We bought this to play with another couple at the lake. We all had a great time. A little hard to figure out at the beginning, but in the end, we all had a great time.

Let The Good Times Roll - 1 year ago, Verified purchaser
I love the Villainous Series. Introductions to evil changed the gameplay of the classic villains from the original game. Ursula Have Trident and Crown in her lair. The locked tokens are removed. Gameplay is a major improvement. Captain Hook locked tokens are removed. Defeat Peter Pan Maleficient a Curse must be played at each realm must have allies at the curse. Playing the character was easy to win added condition more challenging. Prince John added win condition 20 power and Robin Hood imprisoned. Highly recommend the game. Easy to learn. Disney Villainous has 6 expansions mix and match villains, Murder, Mayhem, and Revenge is how I play the game. Happy Gaming to All

The must board game - 1 year ago, Verified purchaser
Kind if challenging at start, it has many rules and each character has his own board and rules, to win you must know the other characters story and rules, and decide when to progress your side, or when to spend a turn on attacking. As usual with disney, the art and graphics are awesome, very fun, and exited to buy and expansion.

I already own the original game, I just didn’t realize it until I bought the game because of the Black Friday sale. I honestly don’t dislike it and will keep it. This version allows for newer players (like me) to understand the game better and start out easier than what you would have done with the original set (with the additional 2 characters). This set didn’t come with locks OR instruction manual. The ONLY reason I took off a star was because what new game that you buy doesn’t come with an instruction manual? I was so confused and was forced to look it up online…not ideal. Over all I am happy with this set. I wouldn’t pay full price for it though. The 50% off discount was honestly why I bought it. Definitely makes more sense to buy the original set if this special edition wasn’t on sale.

I love villainous it is a great game but if you are buying this copy beware. Yes the exclusives are great and makes the original pieces bad but there are 2 less characters in this edition. If you are just getting into Villainous buy the original copy. You get more play out of one box. Don’t get me wrong I love this game but I feel they are just trying to make money off of the 100 year anniversary. I do own this copy but if I have known there is nothing new but the shiny pieces and all characters are not in box I would have not purchased.

This is a streamlined re-release of the original Wicked to the Core base game. It has simplified/streamlined rules, reworked cards/goals, a different box cover, omits 2 of the 6 villains (Jafar and Queen of Hearts), and the movers are irradescent instead of clear, This is already a game geared towards gateway gamers so I would really only recommend it if you are an even more casual gamer that does not plan on buying any of the expansions. The only other person I can see wanting to buy this is a completionist who wants to own everything, otherwise I say just buy the Wicked to the Core version. For one, you will not be able to acquire Jafar or Queen of hearts without rebuying and doubling up on the contents of this set. The new rules break some of the more thematic gameplay elements in favor of streamlining, some of the rules contradict the rules that come with the expansions, the rule re-writes were not written by Prospero Hall who is the original creators of the Villainous games, and finally despite coming with less content they are still charging the same price.
