Everything you need is inside the box. See directions insert or leaflet and follow all safety instructions before you begin.
Step 1: Mix. Put on coloring gloves and pour the ammonia-free colorant into the cream developer bottle. Place the cap back on the bottle. Point the bottle away from your face and shake vigorously until the mixture has blended completely.
Step 2: Apply. Part your hair into 4 equal sections using the applicator tip, then apply the dye one section at a time starting at your roots. Do not rub the mixture into your scalp.
Step 3: Leave in. Apply any remaining product through the rest of your hair and massage your strands gently until your hair is completely saturated. Leave it on for 25 minutes total. For resistant gray hair, add 10 more minutes. For blonde shades, add an extra 20 minutes to the total processing time.
Step 4: Rinse. Put your gloves back on and gently rinse your hair with warm water until the water runs clear.
Step 5: Condition. Apply Moisturize + Strength Conditioner to your hair and leave it on for 2 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with warm water.

Shade little dark for me but that’s my fault

Bad batch
after 33 years of use, I got a bad batch of hair coloring number 41. when I opened up the box tonight the coloring was already dark in the brown bottle instead of the light tan it should have been. what a waste of time and now I have to diet all over again tomorrow morning. I haven't looked in the other box. I'm hoping this one isn't bad also. I would add images but it won't work below

Rich color that lasts

Prefer mixing over a box
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Application seems to be pretty easy… And you can cover up your roots quite well, but the color never lasts as long as I’d like it too and then also of course the smell isn’t as pleasant but when you’re coloring your hair, it is what it is. I would say the only thing that I love is after dying my hair and using the conditioner my hair seems to be super soft and luxe for a couple days until it gets dry.

Hair color

It’s a decent dye

I had to kind of skimp just for the closure because I didn’t know if it would be enough for all of the hair but overall it worked!

Itchy scalp

Not worth it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who already has dark hair, I didn’t notice any difference at all after using this product. The chemical smell is very strong and for no change in hair color, I would say this was not worth it. To make things worse, Revlon is a brand that still tests their products on animals, which should be enough to stay away from them. I will not be touching their products in the future.

The application process was straightforward and easy to manage at home, which is a huge bonus. I was really impressed with how the final shade turned out—it was exactly what I was hoping for, and the color lasted beautifully without dulling quickly. My only constructive feedback is that the formula did leave my hair feeling a little dry immediately afterward. However, this is easily remedied by using a deep conditioning mask or a rich hair oil in the days following the coloring. Given the high-quality color result, the perfect coverage, and the excellent price point, the temporary dryness is a minor issue. I would absolutely repurchase this product for reliable, salon-quality color at home.
