Revlon ColorSilk Permanent Hair Color with Bond Repair Complex - Brown

I have been using this since COVID-19 and it leaves your hair in great shape, gives amazing long-lasting coverage, is easy to use. The price has gone up a bit (used to be 3.99, now 4.99) which is about 25% increase. I have used the following colors: #30 which is dark and tends to have a long lasting effect but then you can tell right away as greys appear, #47 which is a rich medium brown which does an amazing job of covering the greys and tends to add "golden" warm tones. I leave it on about 5-10 minutes longer than the instructions to deepen the color and there is no damage to my hair. I am 57, curly hair and adds a richness to my complextion after I am done, in other words I don't feel so old, lol

Revlon Colorsilk in Dark Brown gave my hair a deep brown tone with beautiful shine. It covered a few strands of the grays I have very well and no strong scent afterwards. My hair felt soft and looked great. The color lasted 3 months for me.

I have used this brand/Colorsilk for about 20 years. Had no reason to change since it works the way I expect it too. Covers the gray and I use it when I need to cover my grays for an event. Works great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this hair dye as someone who has fine, long hair. I will say you definitely need 2 bottles if you have my hair for ultimate saturation. I started off two shade of brown because my hair color was growing out but once I was finished I was a nice dark brown color. The hair repair mask that comes with it was soooo good!

As for the ease of use, it’s just like all box dyes. Nothing new or innovative, but the shade seems to be pure. I have darker hair so black really comes out. My hair was admittedly shiny post-application, but I can’t speak for the longevity as a lot of extra dye came out upon first wash.

I don't use boxed drugstore hair dyed like ever but I did use it on my teenagers hair and it wasn't to drying to her hair. Easy application process but it wasn't as light as the picture on the box.

My hair didn’t feel dry and dead afterwards as well. Super easy to apply and the directions were just as easy to follow. The color afterwards was exactly how I expected it to be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had a grey streak of hair since I was a teen, and while I thought that was cool then, the streak has since gained a lot of friends, and I wanted to attempt covering them up and giving new life to my hair. The color coverage is amazing, and my grey hair has been covered. The shade looks amazing, and not only does it refresh my hair it gives my face a younger look as well. The application was fairly easy. I made sure to do an allergy test to make sure I wouldn't break out, and I lined around my hairline with petroleum jelly so I wouldn't stain my skin. Once that was done, I jumped into it and the application went fairly quickly. There was a slight smell that wasn't overly upsetting, and I didn't have any dripping while applying. Once the coloring process was done, I dried and styled my hair as usual, and I love the way my hair looks. I have washed my hair since coloring my hair, and I haven't noticed any fading yet where the grey hair is. I know grey hair tends to lose color first, but for now, it looks fine. The coverage is amazing, and I would recommend this to anyone who wants a new look or who wants to try to cover their grey. I honestly feel you won't be disappointed.
