This has to be one of the worst in terms of application and neatness—the applicator requires you to cut off the tip and as soon as I did, the product in the bottle started to ooze out upwards. After mixing the ingredients, I was shocked at how watery the dye was and unsurprisingly, got everywhere due to the texture and terrible design of the applicator. It also has an unpleasant smell. I am disappointed in this product and hope the dye at least lasts for a few weeks.

I love that it is ammonia free and formulated to protect hair from frizz and breakage. I found it to be very easy to apply, with an easy to follow instruction manual. It rinsed easily, and the conditioner left hair untangled and easy to work with afterward. It provided full color coverage and a nice sheen. I would definitely recommend it to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m going to start by saying I should’ve chosen a darker color like black. I’m no stranger to dyeing hair. I’ve used plenty of box dye, bleach and various hair color brands over the years. The wig was originally dark brown, practically black if not black. But I recently dyed parts of it. So I was hoping this would lift the already lightened/dyed (like a noticeable reddish color) parts of this wig. But as soon as I saw the side panel with the color results which vary (of course), I had low to no expectation that the effect would be noticeable. But I was curious to see the results. It toned the lifted/colored areas down a bit. The results look more noticeable to me in the photo than looking in the mirror. Nonetheless, the hair is sooo soft after the step 3 conditioner. I did not use any additional products or styling tools on the wig. I simply used what came in the box and let the hair air dry to show the true results. Again, it’s on my for choosing this color, but I think the bond repair complex with vegan keratin is a nice touch and will hopefully reduce this wig’s shedding as it’s human hair, but over 5 years old lol.

The conditioner inside works really well and the color stays vibrant through many washes. Still, the dye process can be messy and easily stains counters, floors, and walls, so caution is needed.

And it covers grey hair well. My only problem is that I have to wash my hair often so it's fading pretty fast

It's by far one of the best black shades that I have tried without leaving any residues and actually looked black and dark. Theres no super strong scent. The solution flows enough, but is also thick enough, so it doesn't make a huge mess. I also love that it is low odor, so my whole house doesn't smell and I'm not irritating everyone else in the home. I didn't give 5 stars because it started to lather in my hair while applying it. When I went to rinse, it didn't lather, so I just rinsed it out. Also, this dye is affordable; you get what you pay for. There are no frills—it's very basic. The bottle is also small and not nearly enough to finish all my hair. I'd need two boxes, and the gloves could be better too; they're so loud and crunchy. The conditioner is so good too! It left my hair feeling so soft, even after I styled it, and my curls are nice, bouncy, and healthy-looking. I do love this color; it goes on well, and I think my hair looks pretty good.

Instructions and application were super easy. I have naturally dark brown hair with some uneven tones and a few grays, and this shade gave me a deep, rich black that looked very even and glossy. It left my hair looking and feeling so healthy.
